Apparently so on both counts - the Hills vixen told Us Magazine that, as a staunch Republican, she'd be voting for John McCain!
The celebrated feminist's declaration comes after a lot of discussion with Spencer Pratt on the subject. Pratt had initially warned her against endorsing anyone, but even Heidi couldn't see the harm in it - the mag even quotes her as saying "I don't think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for"!
Well, that's not true - John McCain certainly cares! The candidate took a momnet to tell a Time.com blogger that he was "honored" to have Heidi's endorsement - and that he never misses an episode of The Hills - "especially since the new season started"!
(Maybe Heidi could be McCain's version of the Obama Girl? After all, we already know she can sing!)

iven how few celebs of any caliber are Republicans, this is noteworthy. Then again, its not truly surprising. Heidi's from a strongly GOP part of Colorado.
