X17 XCLUSIVE - Heidi Montag Explains Not-So-Typical Reality Show

Heidi Montag is moving full speed ahead with 20 Seven Miles, her first TV project as producer. X17online exclusively has obtained a shot of Heidi with the entire cast of her upcoming reality show. 15-year-old Gigi Hadid, seen in the back left of the photo, will be the show's star.

Although the reality show will take place in Malibu, and David Foster is dating Gigi's mom, Heidi and production partner Lexi Vonderlieth want to make it clear that "this show concept is nothing like Princes of Malibu"...which featured David and stepsons Brandon and Brody Jenner (mom is Linda Thompson, Bruce Jenner's ex). David Foster will not be filmed nor included in this project.

Good thing these shows are completely different because Fox canceled 2005's Princes of Malibu after airing only two of the six episodes produced! The 20 Seven Miles concept is being billed as a reality show that hopes to debunk the stereotype surrounding wealthy teens by focusing on their charity work while living up the lifestyle of the beach community.

In regards to her new production, Heidi tells X17online exclusively:

"This isn't a typical documentary-reality show, its a platform that will fill the void for network reality programming."

Sources involved with the production tell X17online that "Heidi has been working her butt off in the edit bay over the last week trying to put finishing touches on the pilot. She wants to do less on-camera work and focus more on the behind-the-scenes aspect. Today she's pitching her show to one of the four major networks."

Also featured in 20 Seven Miles are the grandkids of Robert Conrad who starred in 1965's TV classic The Wild, Wild West.
