Heidi Montag is hoping to prove she's still a celebrity by making an appearance at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to celebrate her 25th birthday.

The reality star, along with her hubby Spencer Pratt, partied at 35 Steaks + Martinis. We're told the birthday girl ordered Colorado lamb and lobster tail. Sounds delish.

A source from inside the club says partygoers celebrated her big day with a round of "Heidi fun shots" and, of course, champagne.

After dinner, Heidi and her crew headed to Vanity Nightclub where we're told the drinks continued flowing. The former Hills star also received a red velvet cake in the shape of presents.

Judging by her expression, we can tell it was a good night!

Heidi Montag loves fame, and everything it has to offer -- until now.

A year since The Hills' finale, the cosmetically-enhanced blonde has stayed out of the spotlight. And my, how fast time flies!

Heidi is putting herself right back in it by starring on the new reality show, On Reality Food, alongside ex-Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, and ex-Real Housewife of New Jersey, Danielle Straub.

We caught up her Wednesday evening at the opening of new a restaurant, Lemon Basket, in West Hollywood, along with some other celebs (click through to see who else showed up).

Heidi recently told reporters about her desire to maintain her privacy being back in Hollywood:

"From now on, I'm going to keep my life a little more private ... I enjoy my privacy. I'm just kind of getting my feet back into Hollywood."

For future reference, Ms. Montag, if you enjoy your privacy, don't do a reality show!

Heidi Montag was spotted at Ketchup in West Hollywood Wednesday, and she looks super freaked out!

Wonder what the star was hiding? She was at the Sunset Strip hot spot to film her VH1 reality show Famous Food ... maybe there was a fly in her burger?!

Or, perhaps she's scared of her co-stars. Montag is co-starring on the show with The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Danielle Staub, who got in multiple fights with cast members during her time on that show. Also, Vincent Pastore, former star of The Sopranos, reportedly flipped out on a crew member at the end of filming last night!

Heidi Montag took a few friends shopping yesterday on Robertson -- coincidentally the most visible street in LA and a known hot-spot for celebs (and paps).

Perhaps Ms. Montag is willingly putting herself in front of our cameras ahead of her upcoming reality show for VH1. Publicity anyone???

In the new reality series, Heidi and other reality alums, including The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka and Real Housewives' Danielle Staub, will go into the food biz together and rebuild and re-brand a failing restaurant.

"Speidi" were dressed down in sweats and hats as they took a trip to the local grocery store to load up their Porsche with some grub. They're just like any other couple -- except for the overblown plastic surgery procedures and constant media attention!

Heidi is gearing up to star in VH1's new series Famous Foods. The show follows reality celebs Danielle Staub of Jersey Housewives, The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka, Vincent Pastore from The Sopranos, singer/mistress Ashley Dupre and Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy "J".

The crew will spend eight weeks working at a new Famous Food restaurant to turn it around and make it a hit. We can't wait to see Heidi work in a restaurant!

There was certainly not a shortage of photographers outside the eatery ... and where there are cameras, there's Heidi.
