Helena Christensen First Overnight Guest In "Trash Hotel"
Last night Helena Christensen eschewed the five-star accommodations worthy of her supermodel status to spend the night in a trashy hotel - literally.
Christensen was the first overnight guest at the Rome hotel which is made completely of rubbish.
German artist HA Schult and environmental group Save The Beach set up the temporary hotel (it's only open June 3-7) in the shadow of the Castel Sant'Angelo to raise awareness for the growing problem of trash on Europe's beaches.
While we applaud her dedication to the cause, can you imagine sleeping in between 12 tons of trash?
No thanks!
