Hilary Duff Heads To Colombia For Charity Work

She may not be an amazing actress, but she's definitely an amazingly generous human being!
Hilary Duff took her "Blessings in a Backpack" program to Colombia yesterday to donate 3,000 bags of food to needy children in a school district south of the capital city.
The actress plans on spending three days visiting children and participating in a vaccination campaign, and she tells Access Hollywood, "We've been working for four years feeding children over the weekends. They invited us to come here, and we got our first school in Bogota."
"Blessings in a Backpack" serves 106 schools and 26,000 children in the U.S. and Canada.

Sorry but you're very delusional. Hilary has ALWAYS supported charity programs & has been behind Blessing In The Backpack for QUITE A WHILE now. She went to Colombia to introduce the charity program to the country & spread the word. OF COURSE she'd be all over press.
