Lindsay Lohan didn't initially intend to go fully nude for Playboy, but the magazine's founder, Hugh Hefner, had the last say.

In an interview with E!, the 84-year-old mogul said the following:

"I think it was essentially mama [Dina] and the folks around her that kept pushing for less nudity. And I said, 'We're doing a nude pictorial here. We're going to do it in a very classy way and we're going to do it in a way in which it will not be forgotten.'"

Hugh also opens up about the 25-year-old starlet's personal problems with alcohol and drugs. He adds:

"I kind of had mixed emotions about it initially. . . I wasn't quite sure where she was at in her life, obviously. It depends on whether it's Tuesday or Thursday."

Lindsay Lohan's highly-publicized Playboy photo spread may have already leaked online a full week before it was set to hit newsstands, but Playboy's head honcho doesn't seem too worried.

Hugh Hefner insists the Marilyn Monroe-esque pictorial featuring the troubled star will no doubt become a collector's item in the future.

Hef Tweeted early Friday:

"The Lindsay Lohan pictorial has been leaked on the Internet & is causing a sensation ... The Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy is going to be a true Collector's Edition."

Playboy is reportedly furious over the photo leak, because they were banking on the Lohan mag being their biggest seller of the year. The fact that the entire spread is now online will potentially have a negative impact on magazine sales -- unless it has Collector's Edition potential!

The Mean Girls star was reportedly paid $1 million for the shoot, which was shot twice, because Hef was unhappy with her first round of shots.

Lilo is still planing on debuting her sexy lad mag on The Ellen Degeneres Show Dec. 15.

Just two days after slamming Hugh Hefner on Sirius XM Radio's Howard Stern Show, Crystal Harris took to Twitter Thursday night to apologize for her harsh comments.

And by apology, we mean she attempted to save face for making comments such as sex with the Playboy founder lasted "like two seconds" and that she's "not turned on by Hef."

Crystal Tweeted:

"The Stern interview scared me, he's harsh. I was unprepared and blurted out things I shouldn't have said, I'm sorry."

Even though Hef Tweeted Tuesday night that Crystal had lied about their relationship, he's now accepting his ex-fiancée's olive branch. In fact, he's actually being very understanding.

Hugh Hefner's ex, Crystal Harris, went on Howard Stern's radio show Tuesday and revealed every detail of her sex life with Playboy magnate Hefner ... even if it meant sacrificing his dignity.

In the video (below), Harris, 25, tells Stern that she and Hefner, 85, only slept together once and that she stopped the intercourse soon after it began.

But Hefner, who we must say has taken the high road since being dumped by Harris only days before their June wedding, is refuting her claims.

"Crystal lied about our relationship on Howard Stern but I don't know why," Hef Tweeted Tuesday night. "Maybe a new boyfriend?"

Harris is reportedly dating Dr. Phil McGraw's son, Jordan. That Tweet has since been removed, but Hef Tweeted after:

"I feel sorry for Crystal. She seems lost. ... Crystal convinced me that she adored me. That was the first lie. ... I'm happy to be in a better place with new girlfriends Anna Sophia Berglund & Shera Bechard."

Crystal Harris isn't holding anything back when it comes to the intimate details of her former sex life with ex fiance Hugh Hefner.

While appearing on Sirius XM Radio's Howard Stern Show, Harris told Stern that sex with Hef lasted "like two seconds." TMI, Crystal!

When the shock jock asked if Crystal ever had an orgasm with Hef, she said "no." The 24-year-old Playboy model then added:

"Then I was just over it. I was like, 'Ahhh.' I was over it. I just like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef, sorry."

A promo has been released for the Hugh Hefner special Runaway Bride ... a special that was originally intended to film the wedding of Hugh and playmate Crystal Harris, until she called their wedding off five days before it was scheduled to happen.

In it, Hugh gets a visit from former Girls Net Door Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson, and he drops a big bomb: that he "screwed up" with Holly!

Madison had wanted to marry Hefner years ago when they were in a relationship, but he didn't want to walk down the aisle.

Hef tells Holly:

"If you're looking for an explanation [about Crystal], I don't have a clue. I don't really feel ... bitterness ... I never thought I'd get married again. I wasn't planning it. I think I screwed up with us."

Hugh Hefner announced Monday that he has a new girlfriend, 27-year-old playmate Shera Bechard, only a few weeks after fiancee Crystal Harris called off their June 18 wedding. After the announcement, many who were on Hugh's side post-dumping seemed to turn, scolding the mogul on Twitter for his fast rebound.

But Hugh, not to be deterred from his blondes, is rebutting.

85-year-old Hugh clarified on Twitter that "the interest in Shera came after the stunner from Crystal," and said:

" ... a new girlfriend is the only logical response to heartbreak."

Said one follower: "It kind of shows you really treat women as nothing when you get a new girlfriend just days after you and Crystal broke up." Hef responded, "What's your remedy for a broken heart?"

"How can I feel badly about dealing with what has been a truly devastating experience" Hef asked.
