A promo has been released for the Hugh Hefner special Runaway Bride ... a special that was originally intended to film the wedding of Hugh and playmate Crystal Harris, until she called their wedding off five days before it was scheduled to happen.

In it, Hugh gets a visit from former Girls Net Door Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson, and he drops a big bomb: that he "screwed up" with Holly!

Madison had wanted to marry Hefner years ago when they were in a relationship, but he didn't want to walk down the aisle.

Hef tells Holly:

"If you're looking for an explanation [about Crystal], I don't have a clue. I don't really feel ... bitterness ... I never thought I'd get married again. I wasn't planning it. I think I screwed up with us."

Wow! Hindsight is always 20/20 ...

Hugh Hefner announced Monday that he has a new girlfriend, 27-year-old playmate Shera Bechard, only a few weeks after fiancee Crystal Harris called off their June 18 wedding. After the announcement, many who were on Hugh's side post-dumping seemed to turn, scolding the mogul on Twitter for his fast rebound.

But Hugh, not to be deterred from his blondes, is rebutting.

85-year-old Hugh clarified on Twitter that "the interest in Shera came after the stunner from Crystal," and said:

" ... a new girlfriend is the only logical response to heartbreak."

Said one follower: "It kind of shows you really treat women as nothing when you get a new girlfriend just days after you and Crystal broke up." Hef responded, "What's your remedy for a broken heart?"

"How can I feel badly about dealing with what has been a truly devastating experience" Hef asked.

Hugh Hefner just announced he's got a new girlfriend, a mere week after his ex-fiancé, Crystal Harris, broke off their June 18 nuptials.

The 85-year-old playboy introduced Shera Bechard as his newest ladylove, Tweeting on Monday:

"Shera is both our November 2011 Playmate and my new girlfriend."

Apparently Hef's new girl has been planning on moving into the mansion for a few months. The buxom blonde Canadian expressed via her website on March 31, 2011: "I’m moving to L.A. into the Bunny House, one week from today. I’m both excited & nervous…."

But Bechard isn't your everyday bunny; she studied perfumery in Paris and someday wants to run her own line, according to her blog. Hef is just the man to help make that dream happen!

A planned Lifetime special covering Hugh Hefner's wedding to playmate Crystal Harris was canceled after Harris abruptly called off the June 18 ceremony, but now it's back on ... with a twist.

Hugh Hefner Tweeted Wednesday:

"The marriage special planned for Lifetime TV is now going to have a "runaway bride" theme & will air in July. ... Holly and Kendra were here today lending their emotional support as we shot [the special]."

Leave it to Hugh Hefner to find the light in a dark bedroom.

Hugh Hefner is not one to mope and pine over a lost love, and his Twitter account has been blowing up like crazy to make that perfectly clear.

The Internet is swirling with rumors and buzz about the newly split Hef and ex fiance Crystal Harris. First, Hef is reportedly now dating Crystal's best friend, Anna Sophia Berglund. He Tweeted Monday:

"Anna is Crystal's best friend & mine as well. She's the one who helped me survive this past week. She's the best."

A few days earlier, he had posted:

"The one who has been the most supportive is Anna. She didn't see this coming either, & she's Crystal's best friend."

On Sunday, Harris visited Hef. "Crystal came by to see how I've been doing. We remain close friends," he posted. On Monday, he Tweeted that he was "happy to be single."

Hugh Hefner is putting his official stamp on the latest issue of Playboy magazine featuring his ex bride-to-be Crystal Harris ... but the stamp is in the form of a red sticker!

After news broke that Crystal decided to not marry Hef this weekend at the Playboy mansion, the 85-year-old Playboy founder added a red sticker to the July issue that reads "Runaway Bride In This Issue." Ouch! That's one way to address the headline, "Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner."

Despite thousands of copies already being shipped to newsstands, Hefner has ordered that all copies get this red sticker.

Crystal hit the airwaves yesterday with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM to discuss why she had a change of heart. Surprisingly, she sounded quite chipper. Looks like Hef is having the last laugh. Revenge is sweet!

The July issue of Playboy magazine hits newsstands Friday, and the cover line is "America's Princess: Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner."

The cover seems to confirm that, though Crystal Harris said the decision to cancel her Saturday wedding to Hugh Hefner was "mutual," he didn't see it coming.

Hefner, 85, has been updating the public on his feelings since the two split and Harris, 25, moved out of his mansion Tuesday.

He first Tweeted, "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart." Since then, he's said:

"Since we're not getting married on Saturday, I've scheduled a movie: "Runaway Bride." Seems appropriate."

And Hef re-Tweeted a fan's Tweet:

"Omg @CrystalHarris left @hughhefner the day her single came out on iTunes. Coincidence? I think not."

Online reports Wednesday said that Harris had supposedly called off the wedding in hopes of getting paid for a tell-all about her relationship with Hef.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest Wednesday morning, Crystal Harris was, in Seacrest's words, "chipper" as she told him that the decision to call of her wedding to Hugh Hefner was a mutual one involving little drama.

But The New York Post reported Wednesday that Harris had secretly planned all along to ditch Hef at the alter in hopes of a $500,000 media deal.

Apparently the Playmate, 25, wanted the money for providing a tell-all after she dumped Hefner, 85. She shopped the deal idea around and there was interest.

The two started dating in January 2009 and got engaged in December. Harris' manager, Michael Blakey, said of the supposed deal: "Not true, to my knowledge."

One thing seems clear: Hefner did not see the split coming. He has been posting his feelings on the incident via Twitter. He first Tweeted, "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart." Since then, he's said:

"Since we're not getting married on Saturday, I've scheduled a movie: "Runaway Bride." Seems appropriate."
