Well, he's normally so sexy it doesn't take much to get him red carpet ready, but we did spot Jake Gyllenhaal leaving the hair salon in Beverly Hills on Friday with a noticeably shorter hairdo.
In other Jakey news, the actor is in talks to star in The Bourne Legacy, which hits theaters in 2012. Tobey Maguire, Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch, Kellan Lutz and William Pitt are also reportedly being looked at for the role, so it should be interesting to see who they cast! And no, they wouldn't be playing a young Jason Bourne, but rather another assassin on the run from authorities.
Will Jake be able to fill Matt Damon's shoes?
Loves him, but we're not sure if he'd be the best choice!

Ughhhh.... I was hoping for a manly actor for the Bourne role.
Yes, he would. He's no Charlston Heston, but he's certainly as manly as Matt Damon! Whoever they cast, I don't expect it to be as good as Matt's, without Matt himself being a part of it.
I understand the look on his face. He must be so tired of smelly illegals following his every move. I realize that celebrity comes with certain expectations, but at least with the money and ability to live in a nice area, you would think you wouldn't have to put up with dirty, foreign trash all up in your face.
