Posted on Tue Mar 29, 2011 08:40 AM PDT
James Franco is in his third year of graduate school at NYU, and now the 32-year-old actor plans to put on his teaching hat.
The Oscar host has announced he'll be teaching a class on directing at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, according to the NY Post. The class will focus on adapting poetry into short films.
NYU's faculty member John Tintori tells the Post:
- “He’s here to teach because he really knows something about directing that he can share with our students. He’s incredibly prolific, and that comes from a real work ethic - and that’s another thing to impart to our students.â€
Find out how many students will be able to enroll ... after the jump.
Only 12 students will be able to take Franco's course. As for his own studies, James is expected to earn his MFA in film production this May.
