It's not only in LA that children have cell phones, in the last year I've lived in both South Carolina and Texas and kids every where have cell phones now..LA isn't the staple of fashion or extremes anymore.

No one is saying that L.A. is the staple of fashion, it's not. I'm saying that kids these days get cell phones WAY TOO YOUNG. That girl doesn't look a day over 8 years old. 8 years old, IS YOUNG and too young for a cell phone! Wht does an 8, even a 10 year old need a cell phone for. And yes, LA is a place where you'll see that more often than anywhere else. You obviously didn't get the point of my statement the first time around.
