Jamie Lynn Spears' 2008 certainly is turning out to be one momentous year - first she has a baby, and now she's getting a hubby!

OK! Magazine reports that the teen queen plans to marry her babydaddy Casey Aldridge before the end of the year. But if you're expecting a grand gala wedding, prepare to be disappointed - the teen queen's planning a quiet, private ceremony on the grounds of Serenity, her mother's house in Kentwood!
"She's not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills," a friend of Jamie Lynn told OK! "Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn's style."
Slimming Down For The Big Day?
No matter where she gets married, however, Jamie Lynn plans on looking glamorous in her wedding dress - according to her friend, she's already dropped all her baby weight!
"She has the cutest figure," her friend gushes to OK! "She's already down to her pre-pregnancy weight."
Britney Lends A Hand - And So Does Maddie!
True to form, the rest of the Spears clan is already rallying around Jamie Lynn to make sure her special day goes off perfectly - including both her big sister Britney and her little daughter Maddie Briann!
Britney, OK! confirms, will be Jamie Lynn's maid of honor in the ceremony; Casey's sister Ashlee will also be one of her bridesmaids. They're even hearing that Jamie Lynn wants her infant daughter Maddie Briann involved in the wedding - possibly being carried into the ceremony in a basket decorated with flowers
Heck, why settle for a basket of flowers? With all the money the Spears family's making off OK! Magazine for this exclusive, they'll be able to bring Maddie in horseback!

Just another reason for Brit to come home balling her eyes out again when she realizes that she is not the center of attention and her sister is happier than she will probably ever be again.
This marriage is sure to stand the test of time.....if this particular part of the test lasts between a 1/2 - 1 and 1/2 years. Then Casey will become the target for every last shitty thing that happens to Jamie. Welcome to Kfedville!
I don't think it's going to work out between the 2 of them anyway. They are way too young & they put the "cart before the horse". You can't do things backwards in life and expect to get anywhere. Looks like Jamie & Britney will both be raising their babies on their own. (Well, @ least Jamie will be).

My brother and his wife did the exact same thing except their baby girl wasn't just one- they had twin girls. My brother and his wife are still going strong. Their twin girls just turned 19 years old. It's rare, but it can work out. I am really rooting for these two.
They both seem like such sweethearts. I really hope it works out. Why doesn't X17 do the right thing for once and leave them alone on their wedding day. God Bless them and their baby girl.
well we know they have money to live on, since they sell every bit of their life to okmagazine. Pimp out the pregnancy, the birth of the baby, the wedding and I am sure they will continue to pimp out any member of the family they can.
I have to say that the odds are against Jamie Lynn & Casey but there are exceptions to the rule and I am proof of that. I got married at 17 had our child at 18 and my husband and I just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary the middle of June. I can honestly say I would do it over again with no hesitation. I am a very lucky woman. :) My husband is also a very lucky man as well. ;) ha haha
So Jamie & Casey it can be done. Just be honest, talk, talk, talk, be there for each other, try to be understanding of each others feelings & never keep anything from each other. I could go on but I am sure you get the idea. :)
