Britney Spears' Dad Jamie: "So Relieved" Sam Lutfi Case Was Thrown Out

Jamie Spears is "relieved" that a judge dismissed Sam Lutfi's lawsuit against Britney Spears and her family.

Britney's dad tells Entertainment Tonight:

"I’m just so relieved that this is over with. That our family can finally put this behind us and move forward. I am so proud of each lawyer that represented our family in this. They were so prepared. They were ready. They stood behind us and I’m just so proud of each one of them that handled each one of these cases.

I’m also very proud of and also very thankful for the judicial system and the judge. It took her a lot of patience and took a lot of time to listen to all that was said and I want to thank her so much for the decision that she made and she made it upon the evidence and she made it upon the law and I believe justice was served.”

Lutfi was suing Britney and her family for unpaid fees, alleged assault and defamation for Lynne Spears' 2008 book.
