Maybe if her parents had been better parents themselves then Britney would have better parenting skills. After all, most kids learns their values from their parents at a very early age. Britney has always been paraded about by her parents and her every whim indulged. Thus, she does not know how to raise kids because (a) she never really got to be a kid herself and (b) her parents set good parenting examples themselves. HOWEVER, all that being said, her sons should not have to suffer the same fate. Someone needs to intervene so that those boys can have a wholesome upbringing away from all the melodrama.

YouÂ’ve surrounded yourself with sycophants, toadies, hangers-on and yes-men, so IÂ’m here to tell you some hard truths.
LetÂ’s start with the latest. The other night? Yeah, you blew it. And you have nobody to blame for it but yourself. I have a feeling you know that already, but I donÂ’t think you really know why you blew it, because I donÂ’t think youÂ’re capable at this point of truly understanding why you blew it.
The most obvious reason is that you did not prepare. Judging from reports, you didn’t arrive in Vegas on time. When you did arrive, you high-tailed it to your room and ordered room service instead of reporting to work. When finally decided to practice, you did so with a frozen margarita in hand. Rumor has it that more difficult dance moves had to be scrapped in favor of simpler, “high school” dance-troupe steps.
You refused to cooperate, prepare and rehearse..
Then, after all this, you went out partying until the wee hours of the morning, when you should have been preparing….or, at the very least, sleeping. You seemed to be under the impression that you could pull this off without much practice, and you have nobody around you to tell you to drag your behind to rehearsals. That’s called arrogance…and with the skills to back it up, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But when it gets in the way of common sense (such as, “I should be practicing instead of getting drunk”), it’s one of the most detrimental things a person can do to themselves. Sure, you may tell us that you’re Britney, bitch, but you have to have more than just attitude.
Your actions insulted everybody watching at home, the people who tried to help you, your backup dancers, the live audience, and most importantly, yourself. I suspect thereÂ’s some ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) going on as well, and one of the signs is thinking youÂ’ve got plenty of time to prepare, and then suddenly you donÂ’t. They make meds for that, you know. But IÂ’m seriously not suggesting you take any more meds.
In the aftermath of your career suicide, it’s been widely stated you were upset about your appearance. You’re quoted as saying “I look like a fat pig.” But then you’ve spent months eating Taco Bell and McDonald’s. Hey, we all like Big Macs and Steak Taquitos, but not all of us are scheduled to dance in our underwear before a world-wide audience.
And it would be remiss to not mention the past year. Going out just about every night and partying until the sun comes up are not the steps one takes for a come back. Another thing… put some panties on. Letting your bits hang out is unhealthy, unsanitary, and just plain gross. While you’re at it, put some pants on. Shirts are not dresses, please for everyone’s sake, cover it up. The moment you were on Letterman and so many people were cheering you on, and so happy you had finally come to your senses and realized that Kfed was just abusive and using you, you had every opportunity to save face and get back on track. You had your kids! Kevin screwed up and would have had little say, but now he has made himself out to be an angel and you the devil. Is this really what you wanted? You had so many opportunities last year to have your kids and your career back, but you chose Paris, and you chose to party every night with every other low life around town. You made these decisions, and you made the decisions to have the paps around you 24/7. There are ways to avoid them or at least tone it down, but you fed off of them, and you made them grow and you made yourself into a bad mother and it’s documented everywhere in the media. I can’t imagine the girl who used to want a family and be so good turn out so poorly. I still believe so many think that person is still a part of you, but just lost somewhere. Get help. Your family loves you. Let them help you. Get off the drugs. Stop drinking. Be a mom, and love yourself first then focus on your career. You still have “it”, but you just need to find yourself again.
In addition to your bloated sense of entitlement and arrogance, you have systematically blown off every opportunity for people to help you. A perfect example was the corset outfit that MTV chose for you to wear. Now, before I go any farther, do I think youÂ’re overweight? No, I definitely do not. But youÂ’re also not that eighteen-year-old nymphet with the washboard abs. Your backup dancers looked great because they opted to cover up, yet were still sexy. Sometimes itÂ’s sexier to cover it up than to let it all hang out. Has no one ever told youÂ….sexy comes from the inside?
HereÂ’s the worst partÂ….you just do not seem to care about yourself. You do seem to care about a lot of thingsÂ…parties, having a good time, getting wasted. But what you donÂ’t seem to care about is personal responsibility. WeÂ’ve heard all the excuses; Criss Angel and insurance, ratty weave, broken heels, Sarah Silverman and on and on.
Perhaps, just for the sake or argument, letÂ’s say the heel on your boot did come looseÂ…but did that break your lip-synching ability? It was up to you to wear boots or shoes that you knew you could dance in. It all sounds a bit Tonya Harding-esque.
Quite franklyÂ…I donÂ’t care, because we donÂ’t know for sure if any of that did or did not happen. Bottom lineÂ…you are supposed to be a professional. You gave up on the performance before it even began, and you looked like you could not have cared less about being there. It is reported that you are paid upwards of $700,000 US A MONTHÂ…and for that kind of money, I donÂ’t give a crap what went on, you drag your happy ass out there on that stage and you do something.
In case you have forgotten, this is your job. YouÂ’re supposed to act PROFESSIONAL and with RESPECT for your audience. People go out and spend their hard-earned money so you canÂ…get paid to cure cancer? Negotiate world peace? NoÂ…they just want to see you look like you want to be there. Adding this latest fiasco to your recent history, and youÂ’ve shown a serious lack of respect for your fans, your peers, and for yourself. (Speaking of insultingÂ….we all know you shaved your head. Please stop insulting our intelligence by pretending that it never happened by wearing those beat and tired weaves.)
Screwing up your performance at the VMAÂ’s was just a symptom of a bigger disease. You can recover from a bad performance, but youÂ’re screwing up something a lot more importantÂ…your life. ItÂ’s obvious to everyone that you need serious, professional help.
Quite frankly, IÂ’d forget about any sort of comeback at this point. Your priority right now should be getting your head on straight for your two sons. I hate to say that kids belong somewhere other than where their mother isÂ…but in this situation, they might be better off elsewhere, at least for the time being, until you get things worked out. Right now, your life isnÂ’t revolving around anyone but yourself, and just loving your sons simply is not enough.
HereÂ’s a suggestionÂ…move away from L.A. (and the paps), put your faith in a higher power and just drop out of sight for a while. And please, get rid of the moochers hanging around you. This will be your undoing. You know who you can trust, those are the people who are telling you the hard truths, the things you DONÂ’T want to hear.Remember a few years back, you said you were tired of people telling you what to do, and you started cutting people out of your life and began making your own decisions. Look back on the past few years, and tell me thisÂ…..is what youÂ’re doing working? YouÂ’ve become a caricature of your former self. You stumble around your life glassy-eyed and half-dressed. YouÂ’ve turned yourself into a laughingstock. Nobody did it for you, you did it to yourself. But heyÂ….at least youÂ’re making your own decisions. Does this make you happy?
You see, part of being an adult is not only accepting responsibility for your part in your mistakes, but also taking care of your mental and physical and spiritual and emotional health. You canÂ’t numb yourself to the pain inside you with partying, drugs, men, spending sprees, and new toysÂ…it just does not work.I have never been a fan, but I hate to see a beautiful young woman throw her life away. I donÂ’t want to wake up one morning and see on the news that something terrible had happened to you overnight. You are the only one who can reverse the direction that your life is headed in. But you have to WANT to. Go ahead, take that first step.
