Janet Out - Mariah In!

Janet Jackson janetmimi.jpg We've got some bad news for Janet Jackson fans - and some great news for Mariah Carey supporters!

Earlier this week, Janet had to cancel her scheduled appearance on Saturday Night Live after being hospitalized with a nasty case of the flu. Luckily, SNL's organizers were able to quickly recover - and sign Mariah Carey to take her place!

Carey's SNL appearance will be her first in over 10 years. Still, you can't argue with the timing - after all, her appearance is certain to help "Touch My Body" continue its climb towards the top of the charts!

Of course, Janet has plenty to promote right now in her own right - her latest album Discipline is currently poised atop the Billboard Top 200.

Here's hoping that Janet's able to reschedule her appearance - or at the very least, that she feels better soon!



That must be one nasty flu bug Janet caught - you just know she hates to pass up a chance to perform!

I would just like to say I think janet jackson music career is over there comes a time when you have to really decide whether your doing what you love to do because you do it well or if your just doing it because you did it well before she's not the performer she use to be she's aged and she looks tired she needs to retire from singing and have children and leave the spotlight.
