The rumors have been around for a while, but now a pal close to the couple reveals "they're telling friends they will get married." And what about the pregnancy rumors?

Another friend claims "the pregnancy stories aren't true." Hmm, we wonder about that still!

Adding fuel to the pregnancy rumor fire, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were spotted outside of an Ob-Gyn clinic in Madrid earlier this week.

The Spanish couple were seen leaving the Hospital Ruber Internacional, the exact same location where the Beckham's youngest son, Cruz, was born in 2005.

She's been vehemently denying rumors she and Javier were expecting, but with this latest news, coupled with these pix, can she really deny it for much longer?

Are they or aren't they? Not that there's anything wrong with it!

Kidding ... Javier Bardem (in Madrid) and Jeremy Piven (in the 'Bu) enjoyed some one-on-one time with their best buds -- cute!

Sources tell the National Enquirer that Oscar-winner Javier Bardem popped the question to Spanish enchantress Penelope Cruz during their holiday in France last month.

And who convinced him? His mom, Pilar! Apparently she took him aside and said: "What's the matter with you? She's perfect! You love her, she loves you. Get married."

The wedding is said to be taking place later this year, so we're guessing Penelope said yes!

We thought Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem looked irresistable on the red carpet last night - and apparently, they both agreed!

It all started when the Oscars ended; Penelope was clearly in the mood to party, and set a course for not one, not two, but three separate bashes!

Unfortunately, none of them were able to keep her attention for very long - until she ran into Javier at Villa, that is!

As usual, the couple didn't want the whole pap press corps snapping pix of their exit, and did their best to make separate exits - but we still got a split-second shot of the two of 'em leaving together in the same car!

Well, the stars would beg to differ - last night, everyone turned out to the Independent Spirit Awards!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed up - and Angelina clearly brought the twins!

Javier Bardem didn't win anything for his portrayl of Anton Chigurh - but hey, he's got another shot at some statuary tonight!

The night's big winner was (get ready for a shock) Juno - in addition to Ellen Page's Best Female Lead award, it also picked up statues for Best Screenplay and Best Picture!
