Jay Leno On Conan Controversy: Blame It On The Ratings!

Last night Jay Leno gave his viewers a long explanation about his move to primetime, his ratings and why he's happy to take over The Tonight Show. While he does admit that his numbers weren't stellar, he notes that Conan's weren't either and he doesn't seem to think moving Conan to midnight is such a big deal. Somehow we think Conan could have made this snoozefest of a speech WAY more entertaining!
And we bet the hundreds of Conan supporters who braved the rain yesterday to get a glimpse of their idol would agree!

He should just retire!
If he wanted to continue having the show, he shouldn't have gave the tonight show to Conan in first place.
I feel really bad for Conan and his family and his staff & their families who moved from NY to LA just to have a show for couple of months...
Jay has no problem moving the most famous late night talk show out of it's famous time slot and basically destroying the franchise.. as long as he is not the host. Now that he is going to be behind the TS desk again I would imagine he would change his tune.
Jay is a hack and a sell out and the ultimate brown noser. He throw anyone under the bus withhands in the air saying I didn't do it. Yeah you did Jay. If you had retired and bowed out graciously like Carson did for you..this would have never happened.
And ratings? Seriously Jay? Your ratings sucked @ss for three seasons when you took over the Tonight Show from Carson.. and that was without Carson deciding to have a show that aired before yours using his same ol comedy routines.
Conan only got 7 months.

Exactly, Why the hell would you put 3 talk shows back to back to back... NBC are idiots. Just let Jay go. I hope Conan joins another station and kills it.
40 million? Conan doesn't need another show, he needs plastic surgery, but that's another point..lol..
If so many were with Conan then why didn't they watch his show? Viewership plummeted as soon as he took over the Tonight Show.
