Jennifer Aniston dined with some interesting company last night - Woody Allen and his wife Soon-Yi! Our photogs spotted Jen and the couple sharing a booth with an unidentified gentleman at Madeo last night. Could Woody be trying to sign Jen on to star in one of his movies? After all, every Friends fan already knows Jen's open to kissing girls!

On her way in, Jen made sure the cameras caught sight of the ring she was rockin' on her wedding finger. What do you think - might Jen have found true love so soon after breaking up with John Mayer? Or is Jen simply proving that she knows how to work the paps just as well as her ex?

Jennifer went to a meeting in Los Angeles yesterday, and we're pretty sure it was at her lawyer's office! After all the blabbering John has been doing lately, it seems as though Jen is over it! Perhaps she's hoping to score something in writing from John, promising to keep his mouth shut about their breakup? Poor Jen, the girl seriously can't get a break! Just breakups. Sigh.

After telling the world that he was the one who broke things off with Jen, saying "something wasn't right", Jen's "pals" have hit out.

Saying Jen's a "lady" who doesn't "kiss and tell", a source decided to tell all to MSNBC's The Scoop.

Here's just a few gems of what Courtney Hazlett claims sources close to Aniston told her:

“He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers. He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn’t want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.”

“Jen was tired of paying for everything. Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer's) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. ... Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.”

Really? Hasn't he sold like a gajillion records?

But the "he said, she said" isn't likely to stop here:

“We’re talking about a guy who had a car waiting to take him home in New York, but he chose to walk so he could talk to the press (along the way). He’ll drag this out until there’s someone new.”

Hey, as long as he's still talking, I bet we'll all be listening!

John Mayer has finally opened up to the media (in this case, reporters outside his Equinox gym in NYC) about his split with Jennifer Aniston...

"There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing," Mayer exclaims, adding that the Friends alum is "the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met."

Talk about singing her praises! So why did the romance end? "I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right."

Hmm, could this be an allusion to Jen's (39) age? Like she needs to get on with having kids - and finding a hubby - and doesn't have any time to waste?

We wonder!

Newly single (and lovin' it?) Jennifer Aniston was spotted by X17 photogs in Beverly Hills Friday leaving a salon with wet hair.

Jennifer Aniston's usually pretty reluctant to show her pearly whites when the cameras are around - but last night, she couldn't resist!

Check out the grin Jen was sporting as she left Sunset Towers after meeting with her agent. Even our photogs were stunned by how happy the former Friend was looking, describing her mood as "unusually fabulous" and reporting that "she looked happier than she has in a while. Guess Jen's agent must have found a seriously dynamite script for the former Friend - well, either that or she's just happy to be rid of John Mayer!

Of course, earlier in the day we caught Jennifer in Beverly Hills swinging by Edwards-Lowell Furs. While the idea of buying fur never made us particularly happy, it sure looks like it brought a smile to Jen's face!

With her breakup from John Mayer still fresh on everyone's mind, Jennifer Aniston was seen out on a date with a mysterious hunk last night - but looks can be deceiving!

Several sources claim to have spotted the former Friend meeting up with a tall, dark, handsome stranger at the Tower Bar for a dinner date last night. Unfortunately for rumor-mongers, however, Jen's date turned out to be her agent - she was simply meeting up with him for dinner. This weekend saw the passing of not only comic great Bernie Mac and music legend Isaac Hayes, but also A-List manager/producer Bernie Brillstein, who managed the careers of Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Courteney Cox, just to name a few off the very long list of stars.

Brillstein's memorial Monday was as star-studded as a movie premiere, which is fitting for the man who pioneered such shows as SNL and The Sopranos, and photogs caught a solemn Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and David Arquette heading into the services.

Our condolences to the Brillstein family and his many friends.

Girl has got a semi-cute boyfriend and a string of failed relationships, no kids, and she's pushing 40 ... will she ever get lucky?

As for her marrying John Mayer, I just don't see the boy settling down any time soon. I would imagine the strongest bond they have is their mutual dislike of the paparazzi which is probably not enough to keep them together ... although it's a possibility!

I thought John was the smarter apple of the pair, but when the "rock star" got out of bed at 8:30 in the morning to speak out against the paps, saying we should be taxed and blah, blah, blah (how much did YOU pay in taxes last year, Johnny boy! We paid a TON!), I realized he wasn't the cerebral singer-songwriter I thought he was. And Jen, well ...

Anyway, good luck to you, Jen. If nothing else, you've got loads of $$$, I guess, 'cause your lawyers' fees must be amazing with all the legal notices you have them sending out!

BFFs Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are both rich enough that they never have to work again, they're both with much younger men, and they both have houses in Malibu!

Course Aniston never became a breakout star in films and Dirt was cancelled, but so what? It's not like they needed the money!

Jennifer Aniston snuck out to dinner with a few friends at Sunset Towers last night. Jen did her best to keep a low profile - but unfortunately for the Friend, the giant police presence she'd requested alerted a whole crowd of star-watchers and paps to a celeb's presence!

Quick tip, Jen - if you don't want to draw a crowd, don't call in a crowd of cops!

I'm sure we've all been waiting for a comment from Aniston's camp on Brangelina's twins, and here it (finally) is!

A pal of the Friends star tells Us Weekly that Jennifer "hopes the twins are beautiful. She'd never want anyone to be unhappy with their kids."

Uh, kind of a weird statement, right? Sounds almost sarcastic to us! Not that Jen necessarily said that - we won't believe anything until we hear it straight from her own mouth!

The Daily Mirror reports that, after Jennifer Aniston spotted Kimberly Stewart hanging around backstage at John Mayer's Hard Rock Calling concert last night in London, she flipped out - and had John kick Kim out twice!

An Attempt At Civility
The first booting came courtesy of Mayer, who was trying to defuse the hostile situation by having his security escort Kim from the premises.

Jen, however, couldn't resist adding insult to injury - and made sure to give Kim the stink-eye as John's security hauled her off!

If At First You Don't Succeed...
Kim, however, would not be denied, sneaking back in ten minutes later to snap some pics of John from the side of the stage.

And, just to add insult to injury, Kim did her best to cheekily catch Jen's eye while she snapped away!

"Is This Because Of Her?"
Jen, predictably enough, hit the roof - in fact, the tension between the two women was so pronounced that Mayer had to have his security haul Kim off a second time!

According to the Mirror, Kim didn't go quietly, either - as she was being dragged off, witnesses heard her wailing "Why doesn't he want me here? Is this because of her?"

All Angelina's Fault?
According to a source, Jen's jealousy has its roots in the past - specifically, in Angelina Jolie stealing Brad Pitt away from her back in 2005.

"John and Kim know each other from clubbing in LA, but Jennifer doesn't want anyone around who reminds her that he used to be a player," a source tells the Mirror. "She has fallen head over heels for John, but she's scared it will all go wrong again."

"Another woman stole her man before when Angelina Jolie started dating Brad Pitt - she couldn't bear it to happen again."

Hey, we feel for you, Jen, but this seems like a slightly immature way to handle the situation - hopefully she does a better job the next time one of John's dozens of exes suddenly shows up!
