It's clear from any simple search on the net that Jen contributes to over a dozen charities, she just chooses to make the charity the focus and not her participation. And I think the displaced, desperate and injured in Haiti will appreciate the money donated wherever and whomever donates it to facilitate recovery.

Sure it's nice she donated the money, but given that she's making $8M a movie you would think she could set the example and donate $1M. Guess she realizes her movie career is just about OVER so she needs to keep as much of the $$ she still has.

People are donating because they care. Any amount from anyone is welcome I'm sure. Please don't make this into some sort of competition or PR stunt. It's nice to see everyone lending a hand and giving what they can.

Why do celebs think it's necessary to announce their contributions? And these people are kazillionnairs - big deal. A half million is a small percentage of what she makes.

Well when you are paid 14 million for pictures of your children you should be able to give more the 1 million. Don't ya think? You Loons(all 3 of you) need to stay over on JJ. When you venture out to other sites you just show the world how mental you are. OK now run on home kids.

That's not including the money she makes from her movies. Jolie barely gives 10% of her income to charity, despite her claims of 1/3 of her income. I know this because BRAND-gelina were nice enough to release their tax returns. It's a great way to put an exact dollar amount on one's generosity. And according to the tax returns, they give NONE of their income to charity. Just the kid money. And only a fraction of that.

BRAND-gelina got $22 million for selling pix of the Twins. So far they've given away less than half of it. They give absolutely nothing from their movie money. I too have seen the tax returns.

It's really too bad the media didn't take a close look at those returns. Then everyone would know how full of crap these two are. We should be thanking the twins for THEIR donations, not their parents.

One more charitable info about Jennifer Aniston, aside from the Mexican orphanage (was on it w/ Brad during their time & is still active up to now/her close female friend for 20 yrs is the head, too so, it's no publicity): St Jude Hospital for kids w/ cancer, w/c she has joined since Friends. Unknown to even her own fans, until someone posted that her sister works at that hospital: now we found out she visits frequently & everyone loves her; every month, she gives treats to the kids. How cool is that? And her clothes & shoes are donated for charities, too. Katrina donation was also done by her but of course, it was misinterpreted as brangelina was involved. Why can't everyone let this triangle die? Everyone is happy, including Jennifer, even w/o a man on her side. $500K is small to you guys? She is SINGLE & has her own bills & employees to pay, has her own production company to take care of, has representation expenses, etc. Why oh why can't you all just leave her alone? She is living her life and has not hurt anyone. Is it better to be a wild child, stealing men from others, using kids to gain fame, bringing photographers everywhere to show that you're a humanitarian? Jennifer never claimed to be anybody or become a humanitarian or want to get an Oscar. She loves her job, that's what she's been saying. How much did you give, I bet nothing and at the most maybe $10.

I don’t follow the Jen vs. Angie nonsense but I’d like to say one thing. Jen made a very generous donation to a worthy charity. It was admirable.

She also donates to the Cancer Fund, the
Heart Fund, Stem Cell Foundation , Feed
America and probably others we don't even know about. Look it up on the net.
If she really wanted a bunch of publicity for it, she would turn over
her tax return. She has been to many
fund raiser for all of them. Thanks
for each and every one. Doctors without
Borders does not just help in one place.
They help all over the World.

Anniston is worth millions. In the end she was making over one million an episode on friends, plus its in syndication so the $$ keeps on coming in 4 ever. Also,her lame movies make her a lot of money and she does about five a year (even tho they all sink). Her contribution which is a tax deduction by the way, is a joke. She is richer than Pitt or Jolie.
