Everybody knows the ONLY reason Marley and Me was #1 is because all the kiddies were out of school for the holidays.....had Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Marley and Me been released on the same weekend in any other month than Nov. and Dec......the outcome would have been quite different! Marley and Me would have been WAY down the list! Credit the kiddies parents pocketbooks and juvenile mentality for its success.....'cause it surely wasn't the talent!!!

People are rushing to see Marley and Me because of the adorable dogs, NOT because of her!!!

I saw both Marley & Me and CCBB; I have to say Marley & Me wins hands down. CCBB was good, for the most part but had some drag out scenes. Had I not had a redline energy drink, I would have snoozed through those parts.

Marley and Me was a hit because of the DOG!!!!!!!!! No, not Jen, the lab!!! hahaha I liked her a long time ago, but now that I see how insecure and clingy she is, it's definitely a turnoff. I believe she's an Aquarius and that is definitely one of their most WORST characteristics!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, no one can take their kids to this horrible movie where in the ending, the dog dies. HORRIBLE. Yes, I know that dogs die and that it's sad and horrible, but it's not a movie to take children to. Thank goodness I didn't.

very good in it. The book was good but
the movie was even better. CCBB was so
boring the first half, then it had a few
minutes of good, and back to awful. The
best actress in it was Brad's nanny. The special affects were good but other
than that it was just not a good movie.

The only reason her movie did well becasue THAT was the only movie taht anyone could see. It appealed to young children. This woman has NO acting skills and every one of her characters in every movie or tv series is EXACTLY the same .......YAWN!!!!!!!! It's a true story and was on the best
sellar list for months. Jen and Owen
did a excellent job in the movie, the
kids were good and enjoyed the dogs too.
I took my kids, age 5 and 6. They have
already losted animals and grandparents.
It's a fact of life and they are smarter
than you think.

My teenage daughter and I saw "Marley and Me" last week. While it is an 'o.k.' movie, I don't think it merited the hype nor publicity it has garnered.

1. It definitely qualifies as a movie that could easily be shown on the 'lifetime' channel.
2. ANY actress could have portrayed Jen's charachter in the movie.

Jennifer's acting reminds me of J. Ho's acting, she acts the SAME in every movie - no range whatsoever.

For the record - I am not a fan of JAniston's, nor Brad and Angie's.

add to that about 5 pounds of make up, and volia! you get Jen Aniston. And even with all that surgery and make up
her looks are medicore to zero.

I read the book..It was good...Movie sucked..."Dog" lovers hauled their kids to see this movie..Majority of the kids were crying close to the end..They couldn`t WAIT to get out of the theater...This was about a DOG..Any 2 actors could of played in this movie...People are seeing this as a WIN against Pitt...What a JOKE...Let`s see who is nominated for a Golden Globe, SAG and Oscar...Aniston has NO range...Always playing "Rachel".. She has been type casted in Hollywood...No respectable director will touch her..She is still a Grade B actress...Lets see how her Career does in 2009....Her movies will tank....Same roles, same hair style, same leather skin from sun worshiping, heavy smoker, shallow, needy, clingy...And Mayer likes to be urinated on...Aniston is just NASTY...

Jenn - you beat me to it!! I was just going to say doesn't anyone realize Brad's film is not playing in nearly as many theaters...for opening weekend if you take into consideration dollars to screens Brad's did better.
