Will The Bounty Hunter Bomb?

This isn't good news for Jennifer Aniston.
On Friday, Alice in Wonderland held the top spot at the box office, taking in another $9.9 million for the day.
The Bounty Hunter, starring Jen and Gerard Butler, did pull in $7.7 mil - which is good! But family comedy Diary of a Wimpy Kid grossed $7.4 million to take third place...
Most analysts are expecting Wimpy Kid to beat out Bounty by the end of the weekend. Why?
Because it has strong reviews and looks to be a sleeper hit. Jen's movie, sadly, got pretty horrible reviews. But will her fans care?
Guess we'll find out later today!

21 million dollars opening weekend is not bad at all
Not a bomb - actually right on the target it was anticipated to hit prior to opening...despite the bad reviews. Which actually means it did well. It only cost $40 million to make and while Matt Damon's Green Zone at $100 million budget has only earned around the same in 10 days....there's your real bomb story.

Looks like Bounty Hunter is a big hit, almost beating out TUB this weekend and closing in on $50,000,000 total for its second week out - not bad and a fun movie! Gerry Butler with two hit movies at the same time - terrific!
