Jennifer Garner was snapped in Brentwood today, and the 40-year-old actress gabbed away on her phone as she stopped by Starbucks and the bank. Jen left Samuel, Seraphina and Violet at home with husband Ben Affleck the nanny, so even though she had to run errands, we're guessing she was enjoying her brief break from mommy duty.

Jen recently wrapped production on The Odd Life of Timothy Green, and though she doesn't have immediate plans to shoot any other major motion pictures, she did recently star in Serena, a short film about an oddball woman and her relationship with a priest. Check it out below!

Seraphina screams for ice cream!

Looking mommy-chic in a baggy navy blue shirt and jeans, Jennifer Garner treated her darling 3-year-old to an ice cream cone while smothering her with kisses, at the Brentwood Country Mart in LA, on Tuesday afternoon.

While the Butter star has been taking her time to lose the baby weight since giving birth to son Samuel last February, she's definitely working up a sweat by carrying her little girl around.

Jennifer Garner took her infant son Sam to a doctor's check-up in Brentwood on Tuesday, and since we haven't seen the Arthur star out and about with her baby boy very much since the birth, we're hoping to catch a glimpse of the little tot's face on his next outing!

On another note, the 40-year-old actress looks like she's making progress on her post-baby weight loss! Besides shedding the pregnancy pounds, the Juno stunner has been keeping busy with the short film Serena for newly launched Wigs YouTube channel.

Jennifer Garner took daughters Violet and Seraphina to the Farmers Market over the weekend, and after that, the trio met up with Ben Affleck for brunch. Though they left baby Samuel at home with the nanny, the happy family seemed to have a blast together. I guess this means the rumors of Ben and Jen's marital troubles can't be true, right?

The third-time mom left baby Samuel at home and took her daughters to buy some local produce, while dad Ben Affleck was off running errands (stay tuned to see our shots of Ben showing off his abs!).

Jen and the girls tried some raspberries and strawberries and bought a bunch of both. Perhaps there are some pies in the Affleck-Garner family's future??

What a wonderful way to spend your Sunday!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner attended daughter Violet's ballet recital yesterday, and the happy family left baby Samuel with the nanny and spend the first half of the day with their darling daughters. Jen carried out a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and Ben was on hand to snap pictures of the family outing.

Not only is Violet kicking butt at karate, but it sounds like she's quite the accomplished dancer too!

It's no wonder hubby Ben Affleck called wife Jennifer Garner a "world-class mom," she always puts her kids first!

The dedicated mother of three looked comfy in a flannel shirt, jeans and tennies as she took her darling daughter Violet to her ballet class in Brentwood, on Saturday afternoon.

The Oscar winner knows how important this special day is, and he gushed in a video message on Friday, "I just want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in my life. My mom, Chris, and my amazing wife, Jennifer, who is an incredible, spectacular, world-class mom, and I want to thank her."

How sweet!
