I'm sure she's carried for protection sake. If the laws would change banning photographers from chasing down celebrity kids and their parents, you'd likely see a lot of these kids walking. If I had photographers a few yards away, I'd definitely have my kids in my arms too. Way too easy for someone with bad intentions to grab a kid with a crowd around.
