I think she's going to have a boy. I am guessing because boys usually sit lower in the tummy and girls are higher. Looks like it's going to be a Christmas baby!

to those of you that are saying all this crap about how it's not okay for her to be carrying violet right now, you should probably experience being pregnant and having a child violet's age at the same time before you try to talk about what jennifer should and shouldn't be doing. i am currently 8 months pregnant and have a son around the same age as violet. as of late, while out christmas shopping, i have taken to carrying my son through the mall because it is flat out easier to carry him than try to hold onto his hand and lead him through huge crowds of people. my fiance was worried that it wasn't good for me to carry our son so at our last doctor appointment he asked my doctor if it was okay for me to carry my son and my doctor's exact words were "as long as she feels comfortable carrying him, it's fine. it's not going to harm the baby in any way."

so seriously, all of you should stop trying to say she's being an unresponsible mother. to be honest, the fact that she picks violet up and carries her as soon as she sees paparazzi following them makes her seem like a very responsible mother to me. the people who take these pictures have no regards for the people they are taking pictures of and it's probably in violet's best interest that jennifer pick her up and carry her so that they can get to where they need to be as quickly as possible.

Violet is adorable, and for Jen to be carrying her BIG DEAL! Hasn't anyone else had children? what Jen does is NORMAL mother behavior, better than all these celebs that have nanny's cart their kids to dentist, dr. apts, play dates, etc. kudos to jen & ben for being actual parents who RAISE their children

I can't believe how many people pretend to know whether it is 'safe' for Jen to carry Violet at this point in her pregnancy....LOL Unless it's a high risk pregnancy, or the mother experiences pain/discomfort while lifting, there's no reason she shouldn't carry Violet. Every pregnancy is different, and some women manage their 'normal' routine right until delivery (carrying a toddler, purse, packages). Other women aren't able to do this, and might be given 'doctor's orders' to take it easy. I have every faith in Jen, that if she were told not to carry Violet around, that she wouldn't do it.
As to those who say Violet should be walking..... I am certain Violet walks plenty when they manage to avoid the photogs... once a swarm of photographers gathers, all clicking away, trying to get the shot (have you ever seen a video clip, with SOUND when the paps are following a celeb? Wow... it seems so much more invasive, hearing the constant clicking of cameras!), it quickly turns into what most would consider an unsafe situation... plenty of times people have been hurt, stepped on, RUN OVER, etc., when there are crowds of photogs trying to get celeb pictures. Can you imagine how all the photogs would kneel to the ground and try to crowd if Violet is walking? This one's a no-brainer, it isn't a 'spoiled' issue, it's a safety issue.
Last, to the rude comments about Violet... first, is it really appropriate to call any child ugly? Second, as with everything, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Even when it comes to adults, there are many different opinions of who is attractive and who isn't. I've even seen rude comments about Jen herself, not being attractive anymore, since she's had kids... usually these comments are posted with photos of Jen when she is just out and about... the times when I think she is very beautiful and natural. Unlike many celebs, Jen doesn't get all glammed up to do a few errands. People can be so rude. Everyone is entitled to their opinon, but why be rude? Making harsh comments about children is about as rude as it gets.... talk about ugly!

Oh, forgot to add that Jen's 'heels' appear to be very conservative, low heel... the exact type that would be recommended late in pregnancy.

Also, there have been several photos taken of Jen in the past week or so, and it does look like the baby has dropped... maybe she's close! I read elsewhere that Ben mentioned they were expecting the baby in January. That seems about right.
