I don´t understand you people who say the litle girl is ugly, first of all she is not, second you should not say those horible things about a child, if you don't like or don't think she is beautifull just don't comment. Another thing I can't understand is why you criticese so much celebs for having nannies for the children, its more than normal, they have busy lives and they can afford it, so what's the problem, I think most of you people just say that because you wish you cold also afford it and you can´t. It is more than normal when you have money, even if you are not a celeb that you have staff to help you with the house and the cildren. My parents are not celebs and are not that rich and me and my brothers had a nannie when we were young and that didn't meant that my parents didn't love me and my brothers just like you all love your children.

THey're both beautiful .. but I think Jen's a bit snotty. She lives near me and I saw her getting coffee one morning... I smiled at her but she just wisked by me in a huff... she wasn't very friendly at all.

Take another look, she's not the "nanny", she's family.

I know it is hard on Jen and Ben to be harrassed constantly by the paps but I am guilty of wanting to see Violet everday. She is just so adorable and I want to be a part of her life even if is just to catch glimpses of her. Jen is also my favorite even before she was a mom I loved her. People who say Violet is not pretty have so much hate and venom in their soul it is appalling. What I don't understand is why do they bother to click on the link if they object to what is going in Jen's and Ben's lives? I can't believe she would leave the stroller sitting in the middle of a lane (did you see the car trying to move around them) then get into a cab without securing her daughter in a car seat. It may not be illegal but it's certainly not *safe*!! If they got into an accident, poor little Violet would go flying through the windshield...yeah, that's great parenting.

I also think it's brutal that little miss Jen doesn't get called out in the media for this. I mean this is no different than Britney driving around with her son improperly strapped into his car seat.

I agree with all of you who posted about the kid not being in a carseat. I'm not jealous, as some think...whom, to me, seem a little obsessed. I'm a mother and a firefighters wife who knows what kind of damage it can do to an infant. She should not be using that kind of transportation with a child, legal or not. It is so unsafe, just a little tap could even snap the kids neck. She has the money to afford transportation, a driver, or leave the kid home with the nanny. I don't know, seems a little senseless. I wish they'd get a reality check honestly.

She was hailing a cab. In NYC cabs are exempt from child seat requirements. You all need to take a deep breath, reign in your vulgar language and take in the season of good will to all.

Violet's Auntie, just because taxis are exempt from LEGALLY needing a child in an appropriate safety restraint, does NOT mean that it is safe for a child to be unrestrained.
The laws of physics do not care that a child is riding in a taxi.
