It's become abundantly clear that JLo can't do wrong when it comes to fashion.

The actress hit New York City yesterday in a sheer floral top -- showing off her nude bra -- and cream high waisted, wide leg pants. The queen of fashion managed to simultaneously pull off flirty and edgy.

The media mogul has been named CCO at NuvoTV -- an English-language cable network targeting U.S. Latinos. She already had a business stake in the network.

She spoke during yesterday's upfront presentation in New York where the network revealed next year's TV lineup. Jennifer has ties to several of the station's shows, including a biography special and a reality show about the backup dancers on her world tour. We bet her boyfriend Casper is overjoyed.

"Latinos are a force in this country," she told advertisers yesterday. "We are an engine for growth — we have huge economic power and unprecedented political and cultural influence and it's time for television to reflect who the modern Latino actually is — not who we are believed to be, not who we may have been, but who we are now."

We love JLo's look, but we wish she had kept on the structured black jacket she sported earlier that day during the presentation. She definitely looked sexy, but the outfit was far from professional.

The former American Idol judge will perform tonight during the season 12 finale. She will debut her new single "Live It Up" from her eighth album, which is distributed by Capitol Music with which she recently signed an expensive new record deal.

The FOX network is eager for her to return as a judge next season, but Jennifer hasn't made a final decision yet. In fact, rumors swirled recently that the network wanted to replace current judge Mariah Carey with Jennifer midseason in a desperate attempt to shake up the show.

"I loved doing the show," she told USA Today. "I've said that over and over. If it came down to it and things were right and it worked out right -- we have a lot going on right now. ... For an offer to come in and for me to consider it, I would have to sit down and look at my next year."

We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart saw Pippin The Musical at The Music Box Theater on Tuesday night, and the lovebirds were snapped holding hands after the show. Good to see that after a year and a half together these two are still going strong!

On Sunday J. Lo shot her new music video “Live It Up” with Pitbull, and on Monday she attended the Met Gala, so shes definitely keeping busy in the Big Apple! Before heading out for her hot date yesterday, she signed autographs for several fans outside of her hotel. Aww! She's still totally Jenny from the block!

On Monday evening the 43-year-old actress and pal Michael Kors were snapped en route to the 2013 Costume Institute Gala in New York City, and her MK gown isn't that punk rock, but the hair is definitely edgier than what she usually wears! And c'mon ... how can you give J. Lo flack when she looks this good after two kids, three divorces and over four decades on Earth?

Jennifer Lopez was in Florida yesterday shooting her new music video for "Live It Up" with Pit Bull, and the singer was doing a promotional interview with ET when gun shots rang out nearby!

The former American Idol judge was whisked to safety by her bodyguards the minute gunfire was heard, and we're so glad that nothing happened to our precious J.Lo!

Luckily for everyone involved, the incident didn't cause any damage!

"Officers responded to the area in an attempt to investigate the incident; however, the individuals involved in the shooting fled prior to their arrival. At this time, there are no known witnesses, no reported injuries and no further information," police detective DeAnna Greenlaw told the Daily News.

Miss Lopez is lucky she has a security team!

Jennifer Lopez's son Max recently suffered a minor injury that required stitches under his chin, and his super star mom admits she was a little unnerved by the accident.

"I hear that all little boys have a scar on their chin. Of course, I was freaking out, but he was fine. He said it tickled," the former American Idol judge told People.

While her little boy recovered with dad Marc Anthony, J.Lo jetted off to Vegas with beau Casper Smart for the opening of club Hakkasan at the MGM Grand.

Glad to see he's alright!

Trading one diva for another?! Let the claws come out!

Reports surfaced today that Fox executives were looking to replace Mariah Carey with Jennifer Lopez on American Idol, but now the network is scrambling to do damage control!

The show is in some serious trouble, with last week's ratings the worst since its debut in 2002, and the head haunchos believed J.Lo's star power could give a much needed boost to the singing competition. However, it appears everyone got their stories a little confused! Turns out, the Latina stunner will simply be performing on the May 16 finale.

"This is just another ridiculous Idol judge rumor, likely started by talks of Jennifer performing on the finale," a Fox spokeswoman said in a statement. A rep for Carey denies the allegations as well.

Jennifer Lopez's twins Max and Emme enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Griffith Observatory in L.A. yesterday, and their famous mom must have been too busy to spend time with her little ones because they were accompanied by the nanny instead!

No wonder the Latina bombshell had to sit the field trip out! She's got a million things going on these days!

Not only is she preparing to drop a new album, she's also trying her hand at producing with the new ABC Family lesbian drama The Fosters, which she plans to guest star in sometime down the road.

"She was maybe thinking about doing a cameo in the pilot, but there was some apprehension in deciding how early they wanted to feature someone like her in the show. So she'll definitely come on, but at this point we just don't know when," show star Jake T. Austin told E! Online.

Yesterday, the Bronx beauty teased her Twitter followers by suggesting she was about to debut a new tune! "Hello LOVERS!!!! Are u ready for what's coming??? And maybe sooner than u think! @RedOne_Official@CORYROONEY #dreamteam," she tweeted. We have a feeling Jenny from the Block is gearing up to top the charts!

Her yet untitled album is due for release later this year, and we can't wait to treat our ears to the sweet sounds of Miss Lopez!
