Just to confuse things further Ulster is not in Union with the UK, only two thirds of it is. The High court in Belfast calls Derry Londonderry because the city of Derry was captured by a London based corporation in the 1600s that forcibly renamed it, the majority of the population of the city refer to it as Derry, only the unionist minority refer to it as Londonderry. Nadine is I believe a catholic nationalist and as such would call it Derry and refer to herself as Irish and not British.
