Jessica Joining Justin To Climb Kilimanjaro

Jessica Biel will be joining her bf in a climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro in a bid to raise awareness for the global need for clean water.
Jessica & Justin (who announced his intent to do the hike last spring) will join Lupe Fiasco and Isabel Lucas on the African climb, according to the AP, organized by singer and producer Kenna.
“This is a basic human necessity that needs to be addressed now,” said Biel in a statement. She went on to say that she's participating in the climb “to help any way I can in order to raise awareness toward the life-threatening clean water crisis happening not only in Africa but around the world.”
Plus, who'd want to let their boyfriend hang out in the middle of nowhere that long with Isabel Lucas?

most people who genuinely want to do good, and who are blessed with money, time, resources and influence, actually go and DO things, i.e. build houses, assist medical personnel,etc

They signed on to support a friend first, and then at the same time bring awareness. Awareness because people are ignorant and will only pay attention if a celebrity does something extreme. also, if someone drinks from a bottle of water it doesn't mean anything unless that water was stolen from a village that needed it due to privatization. We all drink from bottles of water at times. Its not a crime. But, you all spending time here talking shit while there is shit to be done... is sad too. congrats on being morons. And it costs thousands per person to go climbing with a group....... so umm Jessica, why not instead of using that money to climb Kilimanjaro how about donating it to charity?
