And look how happy she is! We know Jessica Simpson has had a rough year (no need to go into details here), so we're thrilled to see her out with her friends truly enjoying herself.

After getting her hair done by BFF Ken Paves, Jessica Simpson and her entourage headed over to Sur in West Hollywood for a late lunch. Maybe a little bonding time with her sister is next on the list?

Before her sister was let go from the show, Jessica Simpson had nothing but glowing reviews for the new Melrose Place, but now that Ashlee is officially unemployed, Jessica took to her Twitter page to diss the CW show!

Last night, she wrote:

Wow, that's a major diss coming from the woman starred in Major Movie Star! But I guess compared to her performance in that, Ashlee would be considered "amazing" in MP!

Jessica Simpson took a cue from all the traveling she's been doing for her upcoming show The Price of Beauty, donning a Moroccan caftan costume for Halloween last night (she was just in the North African country a few weeks ago).

Jess still had henna on her hands after a trip to India for the VH1 show but the platform heels were straight-up Jessica -- no Indian influence here! Unfortunately the shoes were so uncomfortable she had to take them off and go barefoot during the Hollywood house party she attended.

An X17 photographer told us: "Jessica was in such a good mood -- you could tell she had fun dressing up. She wasn't with a guy, but she was having a great time with her girlfriends."

Now that Jessica Simpson is single and ready to mingle, she's looking for a man who is "spiritual," "artistic," and, of course, "intellectual."

The woman who once confused Chicken of the Sea brand tuna with actual chicken told Extra in an interview airing today that, "I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men ... people that will always keep me intrigued."

Jessica also revealed that she loves "a confident man," like her ex, Tony Romo, and an "artistic man," like her other ex, John Mayer.

Considering those didn't work out for her so well in the past, perhaps what Jessica really needs is a nice, boring, stable man! Oh wait, she had that too, in Nick Lachey!

Jessica Simpson hasn't had a lot to smile about lately, with her breakup with Tony Romo and the loss of her dog Daisy, but yesterday at LAX, Ashlee's older sister was grinning from ear-to-ear as she showed off an intricate henna tattoo!

Jessica was freshly back from India, where she shot a segment for her show, The Price of Beauty, and also donned a bindi dot on her forehead and a traditional sari during the filming of the show!

Her rep tells the Daily Mail of the henna design,"The intricate mehendi designs are typically Indian, and made with a turmeric paste. They're worn at wedding ceremonies, and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India."

Let's hope it worked -- Jess could use a little luck right about now!

Jessica Simpson and Gerard Butler dined at Soho House on Tuesday night, and while they were joined by several friends, it sounds like they might be going on a real date sometime in the near future!

A source tells Page Six, "They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours. They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken [Paves]."

Jessica had John Mayer before Jennifer Aniston, but is it possible that she's now going through Jen's leftover lovers? Gerard is definitely a hottie, but he also seems like he has the potential to be a total heartbreaker too! But maybe Jess just wants a fling with a sexy Scot who likes threesomes? If that's the case, maybe he's her guy ... just be careful girl!

Out of all the women in Hollywood, Jennifer Aniston's romantic life is scrutinized the most. (Thanks to the Brangelina drama!) And at this point, Jessica Simpson is a close second. But how well are they at dealing with all the pressure?

Jess has had a rough few months - splitting with Tony Romo, Daisy's death and, of course, all the weight fluctuation. On the other hand, Jen at least stars in moderately successful films and is back to dating John Mayer...

Jessica Simpson was at an event for QVC in NYC last night, and the blonde bombshell looked oh so fabulous as she posed on the red carpet. Considering the week she's had, we're thrilled to see her holding up so well, and we can't wait to see her back on the small screen on her new VH1 show.

Earlier this week Jessica tweeted about the cruel pranksters contacting her and her family saying that they had found Daisy, and her latest battle is with the folks at Fox Sports. On Sunday Fox aired a skit (sponsored by Burger King) that blasting Jess for her weight. In the clip, a cartoon version of Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips asked, "Say Tony, is Jessica around? We could use a defensive tackle!" Two other animated characters poked fun at Jess for her size, but Fox seems to know that they crossed the line, as they just issued an apology.

"Burger King Corp. did not have any editorial input in the creation of the animation that ran last Sunday, and no one from Burger King Corp. approved it before it aired," a rep for the network told Us Weekly. "Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humor was insensitive and we deeply apologize to anyone who might have been offended." Duh!

C'mon people...give Jess a break! She lost her dog, she got dumped by Tony Romo, and she's still forging on with her life by taping her new reality show and appearing at events. It's not like she's running around town in a pink wig with her lady bits hanging out - show a little respect!

After traveling all over the world shooting segments for her new reality show, Jessica Simpson is back in the states. Though Jess still seems to be reeling over the loss of her beloved pup Daisy, she appeared to be in a chipper mood when we snapped her at JFK airport over the weekend. Aww, that's the smile we know and love!

After Daisy was snatched (and presumably eaten) by a coyote, Jessica Simpson has been understandably distraught, but it looks like some evil pranksters are calling Jess and her family telling them that her late pooch is still alive! Jess tweeted:

"People who have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found ... Untrue. People are so cruel... please respect her memory."

C'mon guys - you can make fun of Jessica's outfits and her singing, but try to have a little more sympathy for her at a time like this!

Jessica Simpson is traveling all over the world for her new TV show, and her latest stop is Morocco. So what has the busty blonde been up to since she arrived? Partying with her girls, of course! Jess posted this picture and tweeted, "Morocco fun!! I love the girls!!! XOXOXO."

Aww, but why does she look so blah in the picture? Judging by her face, she's either having a horrible time, or she's had one too many!

Her huuuuuge heart, of course! And that was exactly what was on display last night at the Beverly Hilton for Operation Smile's 8th Annual Smile Gala in Beverly Hills last night.

Well, that and her enormous tatas.

Jess was honored by the charity for her long-standing work as an ambassador for the organization. And although we're thrilled that she's recognized for giving back, we do wish she had returned that unfortunate jumpsuit!

The elder Simpson sister tried to drown her sorrows in wine with BFF Ken Paves at Vino in Encino this weekend, but it doesn't seem to be helping her get over the loss of beloved dog Daisy...

A friend of Jessica's tells People that "Daisy was her security blanket" and, unlike the men in her life, "Daisy never betrayed her. She gave her unconditional love."

The friend also goes on to say Jessica "would cry herself to sleep at night, using Daisy as a pillow." Ouch! What kinda friend is this? Check out this even more embarrassing quote below:

"Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy. She is so sweet, but sometimes because of that she's hard to be around. It's not always easy. She hates to be alone. That's what happened with Tony [Romo]. Jessica smothers people. She doesn't really have any hobbies. Daisy was exactly what Jessica needed."

Drama drama drama!

Poor Jess. She must still be pretty upset about losing her dog Daisy...

The reality TV star slash singer dined out at Vino in Encino last night with BFF Ken Paves looking, well, a little sad. At least she's kept off the pounds during all this! Right?

"Jess didn't appear to be in the best of moods. It looked like she was having a heart-to-heart with her pal Ken Paves. And they were certainly enjoying the wine!"

Hey, whatever you need to do to feel better!

Even though the chances of Jessica's dog Daisy surviving a coyote attack are next-to-none, Jessica won't give up the hope that her dog will somehow miraculously be found.

Yesterday Jessica tweeted, "Still holding out hope despite the assholes that say is it a dumb thing to do. Daisy is my baby...why would I stop searching? I'm a mom."

Although we desperately hope that mom is reunited with her baby soon, we're not holding our breath.

Poor Jess! Poor Daisy!

Jessica Simpson just tweeted that her best girl Daisy was snatched by a coyote!:

"My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!"

We hear the horrible event happened on Saturday night. Neighbors of JS tell X17online.com exclusively:

"That evening [Saturday], we heard yelling and screaming coming from the direction of Jessica's house around 9 pm. I can only imagine that it was that moment that it happened ... because the next day we saw posters up around the neighborhood announcing that Jessica had lost her dog to a coyote. It's so sad."

Jess has even made posters asking for any information leading to her doggie's whereabouts.

Honestly, the situation sounds a bit hopeless, but we wish Jess the best of luck in finding Daisy.

And look, there's a bit of wildlife on her sexy strapless dress!

Jessica Simpson was spotted at LAX returning from Brazil - she was shooting her new reality show - and the starlet looks fairly refreshed and glowing after her trip! Think she's getting her body back or not really?
