OK! Magazine's report that Tony Romo had unceremoniously dumped Jessica Simpson must have been music to the ears of bitter Cowboys fans everywhere - but Jess says that it's all BS!
The blonde bombshell's lawyers fired off an angry letter to OK's editor-in-chief calling their news item a "defamatory and gratuitously mean-spirited article" and demanding that the magazine cease its "scurrilous" attacks on her, PageSix.com reports.
Jessica also took the opportunity to reaffirm her love for her sister, whom OK! had claimed had grown distant from Jess recently.
OK!, however, is sticking to their story - as of right now, their article is still viewable on their site.
Looks like this one may come down to the ref's call!

This is a non-event. No one cares and is not interesting at all.
I can't stand her but this did make me like her a little more. I can't stand celebs that allow these tabs to put made up stories out there just to sell their magazines. More celebs need to fight back and make these rag mags accountable for what they print.

9:18 - bad press is good press. A lot of these folks don't stand up because 1) they like the attention 2) don't want to spend the legal costs to fight it 3) Aren't Tom Cruise - with a lot to lose 4) The stories are true. I hope Romo moves on real quick.
