Report: Jessica Simpson Baby Cover Returns Disappointing Sales

Jessica Simpson's baby photos aren't bringing in the amount of money that People magazine was hoping for!
The blonde songstress was payed a reported $850K for the exclusive photos of baby daughter Maxwell Drew, and to date, the issue has sold only 950,000.
Sounds like a lot, but according to the Hollywood Reporter, that's under the average 1.3 million issues that are usually sold each week.
This isn't the first time People has forked over a large amount of money for exclusive baby photos.
The publication reportedly payed $14 million for the first photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, Vivienne and Knox.
