Jessica Simpson Organizes Shoe Drive For Haiti

Jessica Simpson and her BFFs Cacee Cobb and Ken Paves have organized a drive to send 50,000 shoes to the earthquake victims in Haiti. Jess and company are teaming up with the Nashville, Tennessee foundation Soles4Souls to collect the shoes over the next 50 days, and you can make donation at 50000shoes.com.
As little as $5 provides two pairs of shoes, and as of this morning the site had already hit the 18,000 mark, so it looks like this drive is turning out to be a huge success!
Aww, she's got soul! What a sweetheart.

Please - such donations, which are tax write offs only hinder honest help efforts.
What all relief orgs need is CASH in order to purchase medications and food in bulk.
This is just a stupid PR effort and she gets to dump her old shoes from her line, so she gets the tax credit.
