I thought they really had a shot at going for the long haul.

Since these two are so goofy I can't tell if they are serious or joking. They seemed so happy a couple of months ago.

ooooh this one, I had faith in.... a shame and so sad but dignified. I hope the media don't try to pick this apart and turn it into something sordid. They clearly have respect and love for one another but could simply not make it work. LEAVE IT ALONE

She got too involved in "causes" which can ruin the best relationships.

Some things don't change.

Five years is too much of an investment.
Note how all those pairings always benefit the man the most.

Whoa! I thought this relationship was going to be like Goldie Hawn's and Kurt Russell's...together forever. IF Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey were having troubles, they certainly hid it well. They always seemed SO compatible with one another.

Time will tell if one (or both) of them has someone lurking on the sidelines...

What's wrong with Jim Carrey? At some point in life you realize that perfection is found in the peace of a good woman and a deep relationship. I just feel sorry for him.

Didn't his daughter get in the way of his relationship with Lauren Holley? Maybe the baby being born has Jim consumed with the daughter again and Jenny just couldn't compete with his daughters demands on him. Just a thought. I feel sad for Jenny. She seems like a really nice person.

She thinks she knows everything about autism because her kid has it (yeah, he "has" it - not "HAD" it) and then tells people not to get their kids vaccinated because that's what caused it for her kid, in her learned opinion. Jim Carrey probably just got tired of her running her stupid mouth (Dr. Jenny McCarthy, medical degree from Playboy University) and threw her over for a younger woman waiting in the wings, like some other people have already said.
