Jimmy Kimmel Lays Into Leno On Leno's Own Show!

Jimmy Kimmel let it rip last night on The Jay Leno show, showing Leno no mercy.
Jimmy had previously hosted his own late night show on ABC in character as Jay Leno. Leno returned the favor by inviting Jimmy on The Jay Leno Show last night as part of his "10 @ 10" segment in which Leno asks 10 questions of his choosing. Big mistake.
When Leno asked Kimmel what his favorite prank was, Kimmel responded, "I told a guy that five years from now, I'm going to give you my show, and then I gave it to him and took it back almost instantly." Kimmel continued, "I think he works at Fox or something now."
Then Jay asked, "Ever order anything off the TV?" Kimmel responded, "You mean the way NBC ordered your show off the TV?"
But it didn't stop there. When asked about strippers, Kimmel said, "I don't like strippers because you have a phony relationship with them for money. Sort of like the way you and Conan were on The Tonight Show together passing the torch? You know what I'm saying."
And in a final plea for Conan's job back, Jimmy said, "Listen, Jay, Conan and I have children. All you have to take care of is cars. We have lives to lead here. You have $800 million. For God's sake, leave our shows alone!"

I know it's all scripted, but Jay is a great guy for letting Kimmel lampoon him on his own show.
That's why the audiences love the the king of late night.
If that was scripted.. Jay must think by poking fun at himself will make people like him more.

The ratings declines were for the local newscasts following Leno's show, not for O'Brien's. Which means they help explain O'Brien's consequent ratings drop, since his lead-in suffered.
Good for you Jimmy for telling Jay what everyone else wishes to say.
It is not scripted the difference between Jay and Kimmel is that Jay is a scripted piece of shit while Kimmel is a comdeic genius. He is funny and drove the point home that Jay failed and to ease the embarassement he is taking back his old job. I am happy people realize how terrible Jay is and hope that continues he is not the king of late night Kimmel and Letterman are they have charm

Hey Conan supporters, listen up. Jay Leno killed Letterman; I mean kicked his ass for over twelve years straight in the ratings. Leno averaged over 5 million per night. Conan has averaged 2.5 million a night since he took over. Leno's new show is average over 4.5 million. Leno is liked more. Conan is a nice guy, but his humor is designed for hipster wannbe kids that want to say mainstream is not funny. Give it a break; Leno got canned, Conan got canned. NBC is simply trying to fix itself; Leno will do that!
Leno is letting Kimmel get some publicity at his expense, they are friends.

Leno's condescending and appeals to the old folks. AND he never seemed to genuinely care about his guests. People need time to adjust to change.
Leno used to stand in for Johny Carson a lot of times so people got used to him.
They need to give Conan time too.
JAY LENO IS THE BEST compared to Conan he's a genius and funny. Conan is a yawn and Letterman with his new teeth not spaced and hair transplants has always been jealous of Leno who is better. I tried to watch Conan and hated his humor, a bore and Letterman is lusting over NBC's mistake to make us forget he's scum cheating on his hideous fat slob and the mother of his son before and after they married. NO IT'S NOT OK TO HIRE WOMEN TO SLEEP WITH DAVID UGLY LETTERMAN. IN FACT WHEN YOU MAKE FUN OF JAY'S CHIN, HE'S THE BEST LOOKING INSIDE AND OUT. As far as Kimmel and Rosie and some who hate Leno whose a great man, they are all needy and seek attention putting him down. Ugh.. they'll see their ratings lowered even more than they are.. wait and see!!
