Joaquin Speaks...Coherently!

Although many people think Joaquin's just pulling a big fat joke, Joaquin contends that he's deadly serious about his career in music (which X17online sources confirm.)
The Sun reports that after his disastrous appearance on The Late Show, Joaquin is talking about his new interest in music vs. the career he's excelled at for so long:
“I feel like everything in my life is leading up to this and suddenly acting doesn’t seem like that’s a big part of what was important in my life. I imagine, when I look back on my life, acting will be just a very small portion of something that I did, and I think music will be the dominant theme in my life.”
We're just hoping his life will last long enough for music to overtake his acting, although we can't help but look at his latest appearances and worry that he may end up like his older brother.
So sad!

much love for Joaquin!! I'll go to his concerts! he was a great singer in Walk the Line! He'll be good at anything he does, even rap.
Even if this is real, does anybody really care?. He is terrible at rapping, he looks like a fool when he does it and nobody wants to see another wannabee white rapper. If this is all a joke then it's being very poorly executed. Too many people think this is a "punk" on the public and its being handled so badly that its just pissing people off. If this whole mess does come out in a movie is anyone really interested in seeing it ?. Just a bad idea all around no matter if its real or fake.

He'll be back in Hollywood begging for an acting job within 4 years. If this isn't a joke there is definately something mentally defective about him. How stupid is this guy? Anyway, if I was his parents I would be ripping the stupid beard off his face, give him the spanking of his life and tell him to smarten up. Most people would love to have an acting career and he pretends he is above it all..he has plummeted to loser catergory.
He's always been way off center, and from many comments made by co-workers and directors on his films, terribly insecure and uncomfortable about his abilities as an actor and the whole film making business.
Apparently, he's uncomfortable with the make believe aspect, portraying other people. So, wanting to express the "real" him, via is own creative process doesn't seem so odd. He's a performer, trying to find something "authentic" to perform.
Unfortunately, he has no talent as a rapper and may be using controlled substances which cloud his judgment and give him false courage.
Is he faking? Is he serious? or is he experimenting? Maybe a little bit of it all.
