I don't think that's funny. Joaquin is clearly uncomfortable being there and all Dave does is laugh at him and make fun of him. I think Joaquin handled himself well simply by not walking out.

Good for Joaquin for being above Dave's foolishness. Bullying is not cool no matter how much you get paid to make fun of others.

David Letterman is an ASS! Can someone make fun of him....

The whole thing was FAKE! Audience members said during breaks he would take off his glasses and talk to Dave, then as soon as it was time to go back on he would put the glasses on. If you watched the show last night you could see him taking off his sunglasses, smile and shake Dave's hand...it wasn't for real.

Joaquin was very disrespectful to Dave. There was no reason to act like a bum or drugged out on tv. Come on, Joaquin is an actor, so act like it. If he doesn't want to be in the spotlight, get out of Hollywood and move to Montana or something. No one needs to see that. Its embarrassing to the fans, to Dave, and to Joaquin.

I watched the show last night. It was
very uncomfortable for me to watch.I did
not know what was going on. I always loved watching Joaquin in his movies,but
this was something else. If Joaquin needs help,I sure hopes he gets it.But to come on the show and act like that,
Joaquin should have stayed home.

His brother died of an over-dose, meaning, he has BAD genes, that means he is prone to substance abuse and mental problems(those genes go hand in hand)..there was nothing funny about that. Dave is a PRICK.

I sincerely hope Joaquin doesn't follow his brother's path. That being said I think David Letterman was rude and disrespectful to Joaquin...this is why I watch Jay Leno instead. Letterman needs to retire.
