John Mayer Returns To The Stage Following Throat Surgery For Charity Fundraiser

John Mayer took the stage for a surprise performance at the Livingston Town Proper benefit in Montana. The event was to raise money for the firefighters that saved homes in the area from a summer wildfire, including the Grammy winner's.
This marks the first time the "Gravity" singer has sung live on stage following throat surgery two years ago for granuloma.
The musician was in L.A getting the operation at the time of the disaster, and he vowed to give back to those who helped to keep his home safe. The event raised more than $100,000 and also featured a performance by the Zach Brown Band.
