So what has the serial ladykiller been up to lately? Star Magazine claims that Oscar winner Kate Winslet is his latest fling, and the two are keeping their romance on the DL. An insider tells the mag, "A few weeks ago, John was at a party in Manhattan when he ran into Kate. He really put the moves on her, and Kate eventually responded." Seriously?! Then again, Jennifer Aniston fell for his charms, so who knows...

April 3, 2011 08:47 AM: it's not "sad for me", it's reality for me and illusion, rumors and lies for anyone "believing" blantantly manipulative PR games. Many people are controlled for spin and don't realise it. The entertainment industry is mainly based on audience, cash and image. You may remember everyone HATED that fake showmance since day 1. The voting on CNN showed over 95% believd they should not be a couple. Go figure. CAA reads that and it translates to cash. Jen tries very hard to be popular for her career. She is obviously friends with many people, not enemies. The simple fact is many people dislike John Mayer, they dislike the things he says, they dislike his egotism and Jen is doing everything she can to stay popular and relevant. Mayer/Aniston will not be Showmancing for any feature promotion again. EVER. It's unnecessary, and it pretty much sent his career spiralling downhill. The Jolie/Pitt matchup has no real financial influence on her career anymore so there is no need to balance anything out. She got her #1 film and beat Pitt at the box office that year (Buttons) and that was the real goal. The Mayer contractually left after the AA's. So believe what you want. The world is full of people being misled by other people.People can listen to fictional rumor content about bankers, Bradley Cooper, Gerard Butler etc.... and the latest assumed association. It is fuel for an industry. You are reading about a career. Her personal life is hermetically sealed. That is the right thing for her to do IMO.
8:47: you know who Mayer was last associated with ? Miley Cyrus. Do you think it is a coincidence that Cyrus and Aniston have the same person, Stephen Huvane, and his company as a publicist ? Isn't it a bit strange Aniston and Mayer "met" at a CAA party ? and that they both have the same company (CAA) managing them ? isn't is strange how Kevin Huvane, who runs CAA and Stephen Huvane are brothers too ? Maybe it's all a big coincidence !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????
