John Travolta's pricey vintage ride was ripped off over the weekend in Santa Monica.

The actor, who had stopped to check out cars at a Jaguar dealership, parked his 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL on the street ... and when he returned 10 minutes later, the car worth six-figures, was gone!

Santa Monica P.D. confirmed to X17online that the Mercedes is registered to Travolta. As for right now, police tell us there are no leads in the case.

Travolta's rep has yet to comment on the incident.

John Travolta took a break to feed his munchies on the Dana Point set of the upcoming stoner flick, Savages, on Friday.

The actor sported a newly-shaved head as he relaxed with a burger and fires during a break from filming the Laguna Beach-set crime drama, in which he plays a burned-out DEA agent.

The film, directed by Oliver Stone, will hit theaters in September 2012.

Baby Benjamin is getting so big!

John Travolta took his family to Paris to celebrate Father's Day, and the actor was especially excited for his holiday this year.

"Honestly, if I get to spend the day with the kids in the pool, or something fun like that, it would be a great Father's Day for me", the actor told Extra on his plans for the day.

Father's Day is even more close to the actor's heart, considering he and wife Kelly Preston lost their 16-year-old son Jett in 2009. The couple have often expressed new baby Ben is a "healing baby", and this is John's first Dad's Day with the little guy!

Travolta is gearing up to star in the untitled Gotti movie, costarring Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Kelly Preston, and Lindsay Lohan! The film is due in theaters next year.

Happy Father's Day John!

John Travolta and family took baby Benjamin out for dinner at Katsuya in Brentwood Sunday night, and Ben has gotten so big! We so rarely see him out in public!

Baby Ben was born November 24 of last year. John, Kelly and daughter Ella Bleu all grabbed dinner, and proud papa John was all smiles as he carried Ben out of the restaurant.

Kelly became a mom again in November of last year when baby Benjamin was born. John says Ben is "doing great."

John, Kelly and Ella Bleu will all star in the upcoming film Gotti: Three Generations, as members of the Gotti clan. John says making the movie with his wife and daughter is "awesome."

Kelly Preston, 48, has just signed on to play Victoria Gotti, the wife of John Gotti, in the upcoming flick Gotti: Three Generations.

Of course, her real-life hubby, John Travolta, 57, is playing John Gotti.

And, the couple's real-life daughter, Ella Bleu, age 11, will play their on-screen daughter, Angel Gotti!

It's really becoming a family affair! That's a lot of Johns, a lot of marriages and a lot of potential for confusion; hope things don't get too crazy on set.

We kid. We're sure the Travoltas don't have the family drama that the Gottis do.

Lindsay Lohan will also star in the film, as Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr.

Even though the Travoltas live a life far different than the Gottis, they do identify with the family in one way; see how after the jump.

John Travolta is ruffling some feathers of the Aussie airline's staff for a "corny" and "tacky" safety video he shot that runs on Quantas flights.

The 57-year-old flying enthusiast, who owns his own Quantas Boewing 707 and is an ambassador for the airlines, opens the video saying, "This is your captain speaking. Well, maybe not today. But I can guarantee that the guys on the flight deck and the great team care just as much about aircraft safety as I do."

Many staffers object to Travolta using the word "team". 'We feel it's demeaning to be called 'the team'" Quantas employee said in an online forum. "It makes us feel like we work at McDonald's." Others have called the vid "tacky", "corny" and "trite."

Still more are calling for Travolta to be replaced altogether with Sydney-based pilot, Captain Richard de Crespigny who was credited with saving 466 lives on a Quantas flight from Singapore last year when part of its engine fell off.

John's last feature, From Paris With Love, only took in $24,000,000 at the US box office and no one even wants to see him on an in-flight safety video? Sounds like Travolta should call up Tarantino and ask him to script his second comeback!
