John And Kelly Release A Statement: "We are heartbroken ..."

X17 was just sent the following statement - along with some beautiful family photos, above - released by the Travoltas:
- We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences.
Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us hope for a brighter future.

losing their child is sad, but you would think LAST thing on earth they would be doing right now is sending out statements and personal photos to every tabloid magazine and tabloid website they can find. this is all so phoney and very strange. do you actually believe John Travolta read, cared, or even knew X17 existed??

Who cares where the pics came from? They show so much love. It is heartbreaking for anyone to lose a child. Maybe their choices are not ones I would choose, but my heart goes out to the family at this time. I'm sure they are dealing with their own guilt, so there is no need to bash them. RIP Jett.

Personally, I don't care what you naysayers say about the Travoltas and Scientology - what matters most now is that this family is going through a very sorrowful time and they are doing the best they can to deal with it - releasing these personal family photos, which show so much love is their way of coping. they have stated that Jett was having extremely bad seizures once a week. the Travoltas had enough money to have non stop supervision of this boy. an aid should have at least been standing outside the bathroom door. i mean would you leave an elderly person with this affliction alone in the bathroom or a two year old? somebody dropped the ball here.
The kid had such lovely eyes! My condolences to the family. I'm sure the child was deeply loved, but I do really think the parents allowed themselves to be misled by a sinister cult as to what was right for him. Never take medical advice from a sci-fi writer people!

If John Travolta wasn't famous, the police would be questioning him right now about why he didn't give his child the medical help Jett needed for his weekly seizures. But I suppose we can let the guy who made Saturday Night Fever off the hook for child neglect that resulted in the death of a teenager.

Jett was on anti-seizure medication for years but it started to cause bad side effects. Since he was down to about one seizure a week they were trying him without medication for them.
Someone should really be censoring these messages. After reading the horrible things this website allows people to write...This will be the last time I'm on here. Do your job guys! You let people degrade a young boy who just lost his life!
