The Travoltas Prepare For Jett's Funeral In Ocala, Florida

This was the scene yesterday morning as John Travolta's Twin-Jet Gulfstream 2 landed at the airstrip in the Jumbolair community of Ocala, Florida, where the family has a home. News vans, photographers and reporters were all camped outside of the Marion County residence, and the sheriff was there as well.
John, Kelly Preston and their daughter Ella Bleu flew out of the Bahamas on Monday night with an urn containing the ashes of their son Jett, who died on Friday from a "seizure disorder."
The funeral is expected to take place either tomorrow or Friday, and according to The Daily Mail, numerous celebrities are expected to attend, including fellow Scientologists Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, as well as Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey and actress Kirstie Alley.
Celebs everywhere have been offering their condolences to the family, and yesterday fellow Scientologist Lisa Marie Presley responded to the tragedy via her Myspace Celebrity Blog, and in a post titled, "Now Is Not The Time," Lisa Marie writes:
- I wished I could be writing you under happier circumstances but I cannot because Two of my very good friends, (John and Kelly Travolta ) the sweetest people in the world have just encountered the worst possible tragedy a parent could be forced to endure, the death of their son Jett.
My heart is crying and bleeding for them.
I personally would not have it in me to bury my own child.
I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and or attack Scientology?
Folks, as popular as it has been to discriminate and ridicule Scientology and Scientologist's in the recent past , Now is NOT the time...

I realize that there is a lot of mis information out there about the subject which has caused a lot of stone throwing but we are not still in the dark ages and it is still an Unconstitutional Injustice to partake in and encourage such condemnation.
Among most of the crazy made up garbage that goes around about it , It is not true that Scientologist's "Don't believe in " medical care , medicine or medical Doctors and that may have something to do with this terrible tragedy.
Just like anyone else, If one is sick , they go to the doctor, If a medication will make it better then they take it.
If they don't then they are an idiot and you can't blame their religion.
Whatever medical and or physical condition Jett had , I can tell you first hand that his parents were on a tireless, never ending quest to get and provide him with the absolute best care anyone could ever ask for and need, Medically, physically, emotionally, medicinally and spiritually.
I am not writing this to preach my beliefs, I am here to protect my friends.
To the few of you out there that this may apply to,
Let's not use the tragic death of a child to facilitate your insatiable need to attack and destroy Scientology shall we?
John and Kelly have done nothing but spend their lives and their time helping others, making people happy and making peoples lives better.
Please let this family grieve in peace.

I have just been soaking up the love and the happiness that these two little babies have brought us.

I'm so disgusted with all of the "entertainment" outlets constantly reporting on every detail of this tragedy. This is not entertainment. Losing a child is without doubt the worst nightmare anyone could ever deal with. Everyone should practice some type of respect and give them their privacy at this point. A child's death is not entertainment!! Leave them alone to grieve. Regardless of who they are or how famous they are, they are parents grieving the loss of their child. Have some respect for that.

you really have to wonder about some of these people when their first instinct is not to feel sympathy, but to instead feel suspicious...you have to wonder what is going on in the heads of people like that.

I live here in Orlando & I almost flipped out when I saw the news cameras @ John & Kelly's place. How disrespectful!! I've lost 3 immediate family members in 3 years & I couldn't even imagine a news camera stuck in my face or invading my privacy. This family needs time to themselves & to start to deal w/this difficult time & transition in their lives. My thoughts & prayers go out to the family of Jett... REST IN PEACE!!

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Scientology, especially with their poster child, Mr. Crazy, running all over the world trying to save his career now. No matter what you believe, no parent should ever have to bury their child. Just let them grief their son right now.
Im sure the paps are going to find a way to crash the funeral and make a sad day horrific and X17 will be waiting with a big fat check.

Media overkill.. it's disgusting. No matter what people may think of scientology, Jett's death was a family tragedy and respecting the privacy of the Travolta's is more important than thoughtless attempts to get a sound bite.

Are any of you really going to pray for the family or is that just a line you use. Scientologist do not worship a god so therefore they do not believe in Prayer.
Dear Adam, I'm not sure it matters what anyone believes at this point. A life is lost and a family is grieving. If prayer is the inner power someone uses to call upon a higher power to bring comfort...so be it. Compassion is spelt the same in our great countries. Freedom of belief is everyones. We don't have to be the same to exercise the beauty of compassion.
