Johnny Hallyday's Daughter Laura Smet Rushed To Hospital In Apparent Suicide Attempt

Just weeks after Johnny Hallyday pulled out of a life-threatening coma, his daughter Laura Smet was rushed to a hospital in France after reportedly attempting to commit suicide.

According to WENN, Laura Smet was taken to Paris' Hopital du Val-de-Grace on Monday afternoon after her boyfriend Julien Delajoux called an ambulance. Smet reportedly combined alcohol with meds, and is said to be in serious condition.

Hallyday is currently suing Delajoux's brother, Dr. Stephane Delajoux, over claims the doctor's botched back surgery led to a serious infection in the singer (which ultimately led to the coma.) Laura recently told a French newspaper she was torn between her love for her father and her loyalty to her boyfriend.

Dad/boyfriend tuff decision. So attempt suicide, people will start to notice you and maybe your problems will go away? Ain't going to happen! Time to grow up, talk to people and start acting like an adult! Suicide's not the best way to make things change or happen. UGH

she already suffered from depression a while. 2 years ago she stayed in psychiatry because of a suicide attempt after a break-up with her boyfriend of the time. Maybe it just doesn't have anything to do with the lawsuit thing. M. from France

Hey what she said in the interview was that she was NOT torn between her father and boyfriend since Johnny had known Dr Delajoux for a loooong time before she started dating Julien Delajoux.
And apparently she tried to kill herself (actually they're now saying that she just felt sick and that she's fine) in a CHURCH. How horrible is that?!
