I hate to break to this young woman but there is far more to being a good stepmom than just spoiling them and playing on the swings. There emotional health right now needs to come first and if she was more mature she would respect that and back off for now. I know...Ive been there. As a mom and a woman, I feel so sorry for her and wish her the best. As for Jon, while going through divorce and serious life changes the best idea would probably be to lay low, spend as much time with your kids as possible, and with your closest friends and family. I've not seen one episode of their show, just showing them on the net and in the magazines is enough for me! I used to watch the show pretty much every week and was glued to tlc even with the rerun of the show...but after learning that kate hires nannies and bodyguards, I stopped watching the show because I could not relate to her ups and downs regarding parenting...I mean, the show became a Joke and scripted! unlike when it was just starting... I hope kate realizes what she's doing now is not for the best interest of her kids but for her own and that's just plain selfishness...they should stop making the show before it's too late...it is sad enough for the kids to deal with divorced parents, and now a step mom? not a typical family anymore...
