Kate is too busy chasing a tv career, it's about time somebody put a stop to the show. The kids need their privacy back. Surely with the million dollar house and 75 grand an episode the kids have worked enough.

Zara - I agree with you 100%. I think it was about time somebody put the brakes on things! I don't think Jon is a douche bag. I think the media is making him seem like one because they have nothing better to do. And as for Kate she is trying to make herself seem like the victim in this situation when we all saw on the show that she pushed Jon around like a dog. She is supposedly taking the "high road" but she continues to indirectly bash him. Come on!
“Kate plus 8” would have been a show all about Kate and her pursuit to become a “BIG” TV star. You would have seen pretty much what you see now: Kate on her phone or doing her own thing minus the eight (like getting her nails and ugly hair done) while her kids play alone with a nanny. What kind of life is that for the kids?!
These people need to seriously put their focus back on their children and forget about stardom and there personal gains.

He is pathetic!! I think he is getting desperate because he knows his 15 minutes are up and Kate's will probably go on. How funny that while he was on the show, it was ok for his family and now that he's not on the show, it's not okay for his family. As far as not wanting TLC on his property, how is that different from the babysitter that Kate didn't want on her property? I would think she can film on her time with the kids. Dough Boy better get a job because if he stops the show he will need to support 8 kids.

While I'm no fan of either of them I was pleased to see he is finally taking charge after years of being her doormat. She has chased away friends, relatives and ultimately her husband by being so controlling, shrewish and selfish. She now wants to pocket all the money for herself. It was always about the money...never about the kids. Jon was the only parent who was really interacting in a positive way with the kids. He took them skiing, skating, snowboarding, fishing while Kate moaned and groaned and was bored or afraid of trying new things. Being a good parent takes more than just making sure they keep their rooms clean and they are clean and following orders!

John has made it clear he didn't want to be married to Kate and that he didn't want the 6 additional toddlers. He needs to stay away from Kate and those kids and focus on getting on with his mid-life crisis activities. He is a magnet for air-heads who are desperate and clearly do not know the characteristics of a good man. However, it is actually pretty comical reading about this loser.

I think he finally realized TLC network runs his family. The network has run his family to the ground. He is putting a break on this before they destroy his family.

First TLC drops Jon, then they will drop the children one by one starting with the older one, uglier one, not so cute one, not corporative one. Think about what it will do to the children.

There is no soul in the family no more, just the evil American media giant TLC alienating the family.

This is a good thing for the children. They may have to chance to be out of spotlight.

The father has seen through the ugly TV business. Jon can get the kids out before Kate pimps his daughters out.

He has to get his kids out as soon as possible before they turn into teenagers. Cuz when the girls become teenagers, the creepy mom Kate with big breast implants will pimp their daughters to PlayBoy or anything else. She will turn them into products selling sexual images. Just look at how Kate flaunts her fake boobs. You bet she wishes she was 10 years younger, she would totally sell sex.
