Jon Strikes Back: Countersues TLC For $5 Million

Jon Gosselin isn't taking TLC's breach-of-contract suit lying down. He's counter-suing the network that made him famous for $5 million dollars.
In the suit, Jon contends that "TLC is preventing him from earning a living with a contract that is too restrictive," according to Radar Online. Quite interesting that he chose this tactic when you consider that Jon was the one who blocked TLC from continuing to shoot the kids, rendering Jon & Kate Plus 8 and Kate Plus 8 defunct.
TLC's suit claims Jon entered into negotiations for various reality shows and made appearances without their consent, which constituted a breach-of-contract. He's expected to appear for that case in a Maryland courtroom on December 14th, where he'll have to watch as former lovers and friends testify for the prosecution.
Think he'll be left totally penny-less and homeless after TLC wins?

JoGo's earnings from any real job he might get will be a drop in the bucket compared to the judgement TLC will get in court against him. Contracts are not to be taken lightly, or in his case, ignored, especially when the other party has power and deep pockets.
If I were other entertainment outlets, I'd be very leery about hiring a guy who sues the hand that feeds him.
Jon better put all his money away for the kids in trust before it gets taken from him. And whoever is lending him money so he can stay in NYC is out of luck. His illogic is astounding. Those Hellers are the worst thing that ever happened to him and he's still listening to them! Wow. They are not going to get their money out of him, they helped kill the goose that laid the golden eggs. Next up, the criminal trial featuring Stephanie Santoro, it'll be public defender time for Jon by then.
Jon should sue Mark J. Heller for incompetent legal advice.
