Both Kate and Jon Gosselin put themselves before their children. If it was not for the kids, they would be nothing. Kate looks for every opportunity to be in the spotlight, and does not care how long or how often she is pulled from her children. It's all about Kate and always will be. Jon only wants custody so he can claim child support from Kate because she stands to make money (projects already in the works, as well as book sales) and that is to be his only income. I think out of the two of them Kate is the lesser of two evils. Poor kids are meal tickets for the both of them.

She will always be their mother...she gave birth to them; but like many women, she doesn't know how to relate to them, nor how to encourage and motivate them; she just doesn't have the ability to nurture them. Many people are the same.

She should just admit it, and be the breadwinner she wants to be. She contributes by giving the kids the lifestyle she has always wanted for herself, and thinks her kids would want as well. (Sadly, she doesn't understand that her parents provided much better for her, than she is for her kids.)

But, why not accept who you are, if you are unwilling to change and grow...go with it, and be a success. Ride the fame ride as long as you can. But, let the kids be with the people they love.

Jon has proven himself to be a big loser. There is no question about that. The only good thing he as done lately was get rid of that rediculous lawyer he had and got a new one, although the new one isn't much better.

Kate, on the other hand, has proven herself. Proven that she is a good mother, can make a living (yes, it is in the public eye. So what? A lot of people make a living being in the public eye. Doesn't mean that they aren't good parents, does it?) Some people don't think she is she relates to her children. She does. You don't know what goes on in their lives off camera. On camera, Jon has proven that he doesn't know how to relate to the children, always on the phone, out at the fence talking to the photographers, etc. Now I don't know what he is like when the cameras aren't rolling, but I serioudly doubt that he is a participating parent.

Kate has not done well on DWTS, but hopefully she will improve. Jon is just plain jealous that she was asked to be on the show, and that she is able to make a living (with the approval of TLC), as where Jon doesn't know the meaning of making a living.

As for child support, he is supposed to be paying $20,000 per month. That is $2,500 per child per month. I do agree that is a little steep.

So if he gets primary custody what is he going to do all day? Sit around, smoke,EAT, drink and surf the web for porn. And the children will still be in the hands of nanny's all day. What a joke this idiot is. He should have to pay $20,000.00 a month for just being himself. A penalty for stupidy!
