They're still not done with their promotional obligations for Moneyball, but we're guessing Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill also genuinely enjoy one another's company!

Last night we spotted the actors grabbing a bite to eat at Dan Tana's in West Hollywood, and earlier in the evening they attended a Columbia Pictures screening and Q&A for the film in Culver City.

Brad and Jonah were both nominated for SAG and Golden Globe awards for their roles in the baseball biopic, and Jonah recently told People that being cast opposite the 48-year-old actor was an amazing experience. He said, "It is not too often you get the second lead opposite Brad Pitt in a film. It did feel like a momentous occasion in my life when I got the part, and it was."

Whether he's rocking short hair or long, a shaved face or a full beard, Brad Pitt is the King of Hot!

And Brad proved that no one's taking that title away from him anytime soon when he intently stared off to the side in these brooding new pics from New York Magazine.

Brad opened up the mag about his new movie, Moneyball, for their Fall Preview '11 edition. Coming out this fall, the flick took years to make - Brad signed on to play the lead character Billy Beane in late 2007, but even with his support the movie went through many directors, writers and casts.

The 47-year-old actor says he actually "became obsessed” with getting the movie made, telling the mag:

“I saw it as a story about justice. How is a team with a $40 million payroll going to compete with a team with a $140 million payroll and another $100 million in reserves? Any talent they grow is going to get poached by the rich teams. That became really interesting to me.”

Even after the film went through a production stoppage in 2009, Brad refused to give up. “I just couldn’t let it go,” he says.

Jonah Hill is waving the pounds goodbye!

We all know the actor, 27, has lost a ton of weight since his Superbad days - some reports say nearly 40 pounds! - but the Moneyball star is truly a new man.

Jonah went out to lunch in Hollywood Thursday, and there's no doubt that he had a healthy meal. After all, the formerly husky funnyman has been working on slimming down for months in order to get ready for his role in the upcoming action movie 21 Jump Street.

Jonah recently told the Los Angeles Times that losing weight hasn't been terribly enjoyable, saying:

"I wouldn't say it's the most fun endeavor I've ever took on in my life - but it's important. And I'm enjoying it. If I eat something unhealthy now, I kind of feel a little weird and my body hurts."

Not only that, the 5'7" star looks blonder than usual, too! Talk about a total body makeover.

This looks good! The first trailer for the long-awaited movie Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, has been released, and we're intrigued!

The flick, based on the true story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's revolutionary method of using baseball statistics to draft his players, hit a few foul balls (get it?) over the past few years in getting made.

In 2009, director Steven Soderbergh (Brad Pitt's director for the Ocean's 11 movies) left the project over issues with his revision of the script, written by Steve Zaillian (Schindler's List, Clear and Present Danger, Gangs of New York).

But The Social Network writer Aaron Sorkin was brought on for revisions, and the end product looks awesome! We are loving the contrast between sexy Pitt and funny Hill!

Funnyman Jonah Hill was falling under the umbrella of the Chris Farleys and John Candys of the world: funny and, well, full-figured.

But now the Superbad star is transforming a la his good friend Seth Rogen; Hill has lost 30 lbs for his role in the new 21 Jump Street movie.

He barely looks like the same person!

Wednesday Hill tweeted this pic of himself looking very dapper on set. He noted that hottie co-star Channing Tatum snapped the pic.

Maybe Hill wanted to make himself look spiffy next to Tatum.

Jonah Hill and his main squeeze were spotted out and about in Los Angeles over the weekend, and we almost didn't even recognize the Superbad star!

The once portly actor has shed an impressive 30 lbs to prepare for his new role in the 21 Jump Street remake, and when MSNBC asked Hill's publicist for comment on his recent weight loss, the rep replied, "Comment on being healthy?"

Our favorite funny men of past and present were out and about, and we got them all at the same time! Love that t-shirt Adam Sandler!

Whether they're hard at work shooting a movie or just cruising around LA, seeing these guys always put a smile on our face ...

Note to Jonah: hands in the pockets can cause sagging jean bottom. Watch out for dangerously low levels!

Jim Carrey seems to be enjoying himself on the set of Mr. Popper's Penguins (say that three times fast) in New York City. Even in the intensely frigid weather and surrounded by raw fish no less, the guy never stops smiling!
