This movie looks great and refreshing... the kind of movie that inspires you to get off your ass and do something in this small life we live.

Read the book but skip the movie. I can't stand this b*tch. Movie should be called Eat, Pray, Puke.

If Jessica Simpson was in it, they could call it Eat, Pray, FART. lol

It's too bad Julia is in the movie, she does not fit the role. They should have used Amy Adams or someone like that.

Elizabeth Gilbert was already a rich known writer ( COYOTE UGLY) film rights were bought from her. She was paid mega bucks to go on this spiritual fulfillment trip. So, I laugh that OPRAH bought into this. As her book, was LESS HONEST than A LITTLE MILLION PIECES by James Frey. ALSO, the part in the book where she sits on a roof for 12-15 hours (BS) and where she establishes a charity but she has NO MONEY to donate (another lie). Elizabeth Gilbert has half truth half lies ... her book is all about successful marketing to the sheep of OPRAHland.

Julia Roberts is an adulterer. I think she has lots of personality traits similar to Reille Hunter. After all, they were both really hunting. If karma exists ???

Remember the A LOW VERA tshirt she wore in public to send a message to Vera, Danny Moder's wife? Well, Oprah let her off easy. Julia's statement was dismissal and said personal. Well, Julia, you took a private person, VERA, and made her public by your public relations stunt. I'll forever think of you with that tshirt and that's symbolizes who you are.... because whom someone is .... is what they do (their actions). I think this film needed a stronger female lead. Julia only plays Julia. And, there's no range of talent, it's a one trick pony act.
