I don't know why an actress is automatically labelled beautiful just because they are just that "actresses."
Julia Roberts was cute but a beauty, no way..same with so many other actresses when I read articles on these people who a graced with the label of being beautiful. Cameron Diaz is not beautiful nor or so many other actresses yet just because they are in movies the media tries to instill in us that these women are something unique or special. They got lucky and of course in a lot of cases, the beauty of these women come out of a needle at the plastic surgeon's office. I mean I don't have anything against these women and some terrific movies they have been in but lets be realistic..hollywood has very very few truly beautiful women..in the Golden Era, true beauties Lana Turner, Elizabeth Taylor, Bridgette Bardot etc..now those were beauties and some actually had class. Pamela Anderson was a natural beauty until she messed herself up and decided she wanted to be remembered for her fake boobs more than her natural looks. I mean if your discovered in a sporting event amongst thousands of people because you are so pretty I would have stuck with that but she went overboard..did her sex thing and decided that she wanted to be known as a hot slut. Now she has no history with any thing that can be considered respectable and she is also quickly fading in her looks and has become goofy looking and I just can't take anything she does seriously. I fully expect that she will soon disappear to the south of France and become neighbors with Bridget Bardoe and remain in hiding because she is no longer relevant. Anyway, my main point is..sadly, these women the media keeps trying to convince us are beauties just aren't. Julia's so called killer smile is just a woman with an oversized mouth and lips and that doesn't take away from some good movies but lets keep it real and stop trying to promote these women as something they are not. They are average looking women who got lucky enough to be in movies, get a ton of attention and the false title of beauties. I am just sick of hearing how beautiful this women are and there not..some are really plain and thanks to the magic of hollywood and make up and camera angles and body doubles they make the grade..oh and someone like Megan fox who thinks denying her looks will make us fight to tell her she is attractive also is frustrating, in her case she is very pretty but not pretty enough for the next 19 year old with long hair and nice features to replace her because Megan can't act..enough said

hey, why would I stfu..what i said in my accidental posting twice the same message (due to the fact that entire message was not posted) anyway, a major portion of these women are not attractive and a great percentage wouldn't even get a 2nd look if not for the fact that they play characters that are obviously relatable to people who see these people as goddesses and living out stories that people feel is their lives and that is where the fans come in..but one must be blind or dumb to actually buy into the tabloids and the suck ups paps who stroke the egos of these people by telling them how gorgeous they are and how beautiful they are when the truth is..they are average to plain. Farrah Fawcett was a true beauty in her time and she sacrificed her looks so she could be taken seriously as an actress in movies that had substance and of course as she aged she panicked and ruined her looks but she took the risk that Mariah Carey has just done..and guess what, Mariah in my mind is now a serious actress who will probably get an award for her role in the movie Precious. She is no hottie and only due to photo shopping did Mariah ever look slim and somewhat attractive and I respect her for throwing her ego aside for a serious role in a movie that will touch a lot of people. I am saying what most people know and scratch their heads at..and that is why are these somewhat average looking women being considered so attractive when they aren't. Julia is not a dog but attractive, kudos for having a massive mouth and lips; come on. Oh and then you get the actresses who act like they could take or leave hollywood like that girl in the movie that produced by Drew Barrymore..hate that too..if she became obsolete tomorrow she would be crying in her pillow wishing she had another shot. I can't remember her name but I saw her on Barbera Walter's special and she had the "attitude," like being a star was no big whoop. sure. So no I won't stfu because I and most of the viewing public just stupidly buy into the fact that these unattractive women are the ones who are setting the bar on what is considered beautiful. Julia Roberts would never be considered in the 100 top beautiful peoples list if she hadn't been a movie star..she got lucky but she is no beauty and her claim to her looks is Pretty Woman but that part could have been played by anyone and being in a movie called Pretty Woman doesn't make you a real pretty woman..
