Take Julia Roberts, for instance - we caught her getting on another private plane. How private? Try $80,000 a ticket's worth of privacy! Jeez, Julia - we're sure all that leg room must be nice, but couldn't you take a page from Leo DiCaprio's playbook and fly commercial every so often? For a megastar like yourself, they'd probably even give you an extra bag of peanuts!

Still, though - flying ranks among the most damaging things an individual can do to the environment, and flying private is even worse. Luckily, it's not a choice a lot of people have to make!

Costs $20k to fly commercial first class to UK from San Fran. Not much difference when you consider the shit you have to put up with in the airports.

80k for good food, avoiding A-rab hijackers and stupid annoying people asking for your autograph or evenr worse, some douchbag taking a cell-phone photo makes chartering a jet worth every dollar.

She has 3 kids, so she wants to keep them in sight and avoid public drama.

If I had her financial wealth, I would have a private jet or charter one. Our aviation security system is a joke. I don't trust airport security. I start praying days before I fly for Gods' protection. Oh, and let's not even mentions how clean some of these airlines are, NOT.

she's not flying from the u.k to san fran ... it costs around $80K ONE WAY on a G4 between west coast & east coast so on to London you're talking $160K ONE WAY ... B.A First / Virgin Upper costs approx $12K - $14K RETURN btw U.K / San Fran

So, COMMERCIAL - $14K Return
PRIVATE - $320K Return

Quite a difference.
