Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts In Talks To Play Mother & Daughter In New Film

42-year-old Julia Roberts is reportedly in talks to team up with 61-year-old Meryl Streep, playing mother and daughter in a film adaptation of the Tony-winning play August: Osage County.
Both actresses are already committed to the roles and just ironing out the details, reports Deadline New York.
The film, which is written by John Wells based on the play by Tracy Letts, is about a drug-addicted matriarch (to be played by Streep) who's children, led by her eldest daughter (Roberts) rally around her when her husband goes missing.
Sounds like a laugh!
Actually, I'd go see these two read the phone book!
